Delilah.

The party was going crazy and not in a fun way crazy. I see kids hooking up at every corner of the house. Drunk people grinding their body over each other and thinking that they're dancing. Even though I was in the kitchen, the sound system in the living room was hurting my ears.

Wow, I sound like a granny. I sighed as I took a sip of juice from the red cup in my hand. I don't want to get drunk because I have to drive home afterwards.

"You should go. She said." Troy said as he walked up to with a red cup in his hand. "It'll be fun. She said." He took a sip from his cup.

"Fine. I admit this party is trash." I said and he let out a laugh.

"You wanna ditch this?" He asked.

I looked at him in surprise. "And where we're gonna go?" I asked.

"You tell me. This is your town." He said and I took the cup from his hand. I smelled it. It was just water.

"You're not drunk. You're serious." I said and he gave me a look saying duh.

"You have three choices. First: you can stay here and watch people bang each other. Second: you can go home and sleep at nine o'clock like an old lady or Third: you can ditch this place with me and we can have a fun night hang out." He counted all three options on his fingers.

"The first two options suck. So I think I'm gonna go with the third one." I said and a huge smile appeared on his face.

"Good choice, Ms.Tyson." He said as we both made our way outside through the back door in the kitchen.

I took out my car keys and he took them from me.

"I'll drive." He said and I snatched them back from him.

"My town. My rules." I said and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Fine." He agreed as we got into my black Prius. I started the engine as we drove away from Tim's house.

"Aren't you going to text anyone to tell them that you're with me?" He asked.

"Are you going to do something weird to me?" I asked.

"I don't have any intention to." He said and I smiled at him.

"Then we're good." I said as I took a sharp right turn.

"Where we're going anyways?" He asked.

"You'll see." I said.

We stood outside the black door in the basement of the abandoned building. I knocked on the door.

"You know I'm thinking now that you're going to do something weird to me." He said and I let out a laugh.

"Aww. What? Are you scared that I'll rape you, Maxwell?" I said sarcastically.

"Hey, rape is not a topic to joke about and boys do get raped too."

Just then the small window in the door opened. It was so small that we could only see the eyes of the person. And I recognized the person only through his eyes.

"Password." The person said.

"I don't need a fucking password, Neal." I said and the person rolled his eyes on me as he opened the door.

"You know it's you, Del. That's why I'm letting you in. Otherwise password is mandatory." Neal said.

"Yeah, whatever." I said as I walked inside the not so big club. The bar was lighted with purple and pink colours. The floor had lights in it too which were changing colours constantly from shocking pink to dark purple. The stage was empty. A few familiar faces were sitting on their favorite tables. And the bartender was busy cleaning the glasses.

"Oh, so you brought Saint Germaine's hottie with you tonight." Neal said as he checked out Troy up and down.

"I wouldn't say that I'm a hottie." Troy said.

"Ooh, he's humble too." Neal said as he walked upto me. "Totally my type." He whispered to me loud enough so that Troy could hear.

Troy seemed a little weird.

"He's just messing with you." I said as I gestured him to walk forward. He followed me towards the bar.

"What is this place?" Troy asked.

"It's a club. Kind of like a secret club." We sat down on the stools. "Hey, Dan." I said and the bartender greeted me back.

"How do you know this place?" He asked.

"Flynn introduced me to this place." I answered as the bartender put the orange juice glass infront of me. I'm a regular here so he knows what I want.

"For you, kid?" He asked Troy.

"Same." He answered. Dan poured orange juice in a glass and put it infront of him. Then he went back to cleaning his glasses.

"Why is it under an abandoned building?" Troy asked.

"You see my friend Neal here is the weirdo who owns this building."

"I can hear you." Neal said from his table.

"I know." I said as I took sip from my glass.

"So I was saying. He's a weirdo who thought that it'd be great idea to make a club under an abandoned building."

"It is a great idea." Neal added from his table.

I ignored him. "He only allows people he trusts to come in." I told him. It took him some time to take in the information.

"So, how did Flynn know about this place?" Troy asked.

"Neal's like family to Flynn. His mom and Neal has been friends since high school so he was allowed to come here." I stood up from the stool as I walked towards the picture board. Troy followed me.

"You see this picture." I pointed at one of the pictures of Flynn. He was about thirteen in this picture. "It was the first time he came here. He celebrated his thirteenth birthday here." Then I pointed at a picture. It was our picture. Mine and Flynn's. We were sitting at one of the tables smiling at the camera. "This was our first date as an official couple." I said.

"Yeah, and you were all sweating and nervous." Neal said from behind and I laughed.

"Yeah, I was nervous." I said.

Then I pointed at another picture. In that one he was kissing me passionately with his eyes closed and his one arm wrapped around me. We were sitting on one of the tables. "This is his last picture taken here. It was his eighteenth birthday. We celebrated it almost a week before he.." I pulled a break on my words as tears filled my eyes.

He was so happy that day. And I was really sad because he was going to  college that summer leaving me behind here. But I wanted to be a part of his happiness that I didn't say anything. We both just enjoyed the night.

Neal wrapped his arm around me as he pulled me closer to him. "You okay, sweetie?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said as I pulled away from him. I wiped my tears. "Aren't we gonna have a performance today?" I asked.

"Serena's out of town." He sighed.

"Why?" I asked.

"Her ex's getting married and she went there to show off her new boyfriend." He said and I scowled. "I know she's pathetic." Neal said with disappointment.

"Why don't you perform something?" Neal pointed at Troy.

"I don't-"

"Uh uh.. don't lie to me. I know you play guitar and you can sing very well too. I have friends working in your school who have told me many times about your talent." Neal said.

This guy has friends everywhere.

"I don't know. I've done that only during music class not on a stage." Troy said.

"There aren't many people here." I said and he still seemed hesitant. "I'll sing with you." I said and he looked a little surprised.

"You can sing?" He asked.

"Oh, yeah. She has a voice of giraffe." Neal added.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Come on. Let's do this." I insisted. "You want it to be a fun night hang out right?" I asked and he nodded.

He looked at me for moment thinking something. "Fine. Let's do this." He said.

"Okay, Neal set the stage. We'll select a song." I said and Neal walked away from us.

After discussing for a few moments we agreed on "We don't talk anymore" by Charlie Puth.

Neal went onto the stage and announced our names. We walked towards the stage as Neal handed Troy a guitar. We went up there as we sat down on the stools.

Troy started pulling the strings softly with his fingers as the melody filled the whole club with the calming sound. He got a little closer to the mic as he started singing.

His voice was beautuful. It seemed like he practiced singing a lot. Because his notes were amazing. There were barely any mistakes. It was melodious and beautiful.  And it made my ears to feel at calm. Unlike that loud music at the party.

Troy slightly elbowed me. "It's your turn." He whispered to me. Just then I came back to reality as I leaned closer to the mic. And sang my verses.

The song was calm and nice. And singing it made me feel more and more at peace. We both then sang in unison as we ended the song.

We spent the rest of our night playing different games and talking about our future. We also made a little fun of Neal and in punishment we had to listen to his boring boyfriend problems. But all together the night was amazing and fun. I haven't had this much fun in months. It was one fun night hang out that I'll always remember.
