Jojo and Her Request
I was working at the café, trying to make some extra money for my family. I was filling up the coffee cups and taking orders when I suddenly heard a familiar voice. I turned around and saw Jojo walking towards me with a big smile on her face. "Amélie!" she exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"
"I work here," I replied with a grin. "I thought I'd try to make some extra money for my family."
Jojo then invited me to sit down with her and we started chatting about her life. She told me she was a fashion design student and that this week was particularly hectic for her. "I have a big project due tomorrow and I'm so behind," she said with a sigh.
As we were talking, I noticed my boss, Mr. Arrogant, staring at us with an annoyed look on his face. I whispered to Jojo, "He's just weird." She replied with a giggle, "But he's cute."
I had to get back to work but before I left, Jojo asked me quietly if I could give her Mr. Arrogant's number. I was taken aback but before I could say anything, she quickly added, "And by the way, you have to come to my 19th birthday party. It's going to be so much fun!"
I went back to work and Mr. Arrogant approached me with a stern look, "Amélie, you need to focus on your work." I just grinned and replied, "Yes, boss. I'm just trying to make some friends here." He rolled his eyes and walked away.
I couldn't help but smile as I thought about Jojo and the silly conversation we just had. She was just the type of person I needed in my life to lighten up the mood and make me forget about the rude customers and my boss. I was so excited to attend her birthday party and see what other adventures awaited me in the city of Paris.
