Prologue
Welcome to Devilson Maine, the gorgeous place where nature and people live together in harmony. However, human beings seem to have a much harder time keeping peace. This small town is located in between two wonderful mountains, Mount Halston and Mount Aphrodisiac. Mount Halston is constantly covered in flowers and the leaves are always green. The animals run freely and happily. There's always the nice sound of birds and bees. The only flaw in this apparent paradise is the lack of water. It’s a year round spring day without a drop of rain.
Then, there's Mount Aphrodisiac: the snow there reaches unbelievable highs in certain seasons. The temperature is constantly degrading and the small spaces of green are covered in ice and frost. But this one has many lakes and below the cold layer of ice, lays a sea of meat and potable treats.
Those two mountains are so different and yet find a way to work together.
People living in Devilson Maine got inspired and decided to invent a new social construct.
You see, Aphrodisiac is always the one who keeps things in order. It prevents Mount Halston to overcome the land and so maintains the ecosystem. If Halston didn't have the coldness of Mount Aphrodisiac, it would have spreaded and grown. But how could it have dealt with a whole new land?
In Devilson Maine, the citizens live in between the Supremes and Reigns, who rule over the top of each mountains.
The Supremes rule on Mount Aphrodisiac, their entitled color is a deep ocean blue bordered with animals tails . The Reigns rule on Mount Halston and have a light green and each cape is covered in plenty of different types of flowers and plants.
And there, in between those two powerhouses, are the citizens who follow them. They work for the Reigns and Supremes, which provide the citizens . Mount Halston has the food and animals and Mount Aphrodisiac has the water and ice. They can't live without one or the other and so the society in Devilson Maine has to follow what the Supremes and Reigns command.
Stuck in Delvilson Maine, no one can enter.
