A Morning Greeting
The air was crisp and cool. The morning dew rested on the blades of grass.  Grasshoppers chirpped,  and the birds sang.  A gentle breeze blow threw the trees.  Rustling the coat of a white wolf.  It laid under a birch tree,  and sighed.
"There's nothing to eat around here.. "
She sat up,  her blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight. Her mouth laid open,  and her tongue rolled out.
"I have not seen a wolf in months."
She slowly sunk down, closed her eyes and took in a deep breath.  She could smell the birds above her,  and a faint sent of a rabbit that pasted weeks ago.
"I'm surprised the pack as not found you yet." a male voice grunted.
The she wolf snapped open her eyes.  And snarled.  She heaved her body up and launched herself into the air.  The wolf standing in front of her, stood in shock.  His eyes we're filled with fear. And his eyes were pinned to the back of his head.
The female front paws landed on the males shoulders and her weight pushed him to the ground.
The males appearance was well built.  His forearms and hind legs were covered in muscle.  While his neck was covered in thick fur.  He had a scar on his snarling muzzle.  And his deep brown eyes were focused on the female.
The female snared and bared her teeth.
"I'll be off in a bit after I slaughtered you, and spread your guts all over the ground!  Your pack will never... " She was unable to finish her sentence when something heavy rammed into her side and knocking her off balance.
"What the hell?!? " She managed to snap out before hitting the hard dirt floor and then everything went dark.
