Hunter's P.O.V.

Daisy is still not talking to me. She's not even glancing at me and avoiding me as much as possible. This is the first time she's this angry at me and stopped talking for 4 days in our life. It really hurts knowing the reason behind her pain was me. Daisy lost weight in these 4 days and looks weak. She always tends to lose weight whenever she's stressed. And she's stressed because of me.

Damn..... Why couldn't I tell her that 10 years ago? She would have used to it by now!

In the middle of cursing myself, someone knocked the door impatiently. God damnit..... Who's it now? I swear if it's one of the club members, I'll kick their ass for not leaving me alone in peace.

Irritatingly, I opened the door ready to burst but stunned to see the person behind it.

"Daisy?" I sputtered shocked to see her.

She gave me a small smile, "Can I come in?"

"O-Of course" stuttering I said, "You don't need to ask."

Stepping inside, she glanced around without looking at me. Just as I opened my mouth to apologize her again, she beats me to it.

"I'm sorry" she said.

I looked at her confused why she's apologizing when it should be me that have to beg her for forgiveness. Daisy saw me and continued talking.

"I'm sorry for not understanding you. I'm sorry for not listening to you when you said so many times that you did that for me. I'm sorry for accusing that you for got about me as your sister. And lastly, I'm sorry for not believing you, Hunt." 

I'm baffled at her apologies. I don't know what to say. This is such a shock to me. At first, when I saw Daisy, I thought she came to fight with me again. But here she is, asking me for forgiveness when it should be me in her place.

"No, bunny. Don't ever say sorry to me. Ever. Only you have right to be mad at me. The last thing you need to do is to apologize me" I convinced her.

She ran and hugged me tightly burying her face in my chest. Involuntarily my arms go around her just as tightly as her after a long 4 days. I kissed the side of her head and murmured.

"Thank you for understanding me, bunny."

She raised her head and smiled at me.

"I should be the one to thank you. I didn't even thank you for taking care of me all these years. So, thank you brother."

"Hey hey, what is this all suddenly? Thanks for taking care of you?" I asked confused at her behavior. 

But Daisy said nothing and hugged me again. I sighed at her.

"You should never have to say thank, Daisy. You are my sister. My only family. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you. No need of thanks for that."

She nodded and then suddenly pushed me away looking pissed. What now?!

"Who is that FUCKER?" she screamed.

I cringed at her cursing. It's not like I don't use them. In fact, I used to curse a lot before in every sentence. But had to lessen it because of Cara. The moment she was born, Kade asked us all not to use any curses or foul words around her. Well, he actually warned. 

There is this time when Tyson say the word 'Bullshit' in the presence of 2 year old Cara. Let's just say, for few weeks, Tyson had to roam around with a black eye and a bruised cheek. Not a pretty sight to see. 

I'm not opposed to use them. But hearing them coming out from my baby sister naturally made me grimaced. 

"Don't swear when I'm with you, Daisy" I ordered. 

But just like the way she is, Daisy rolled her eyes before raising a brow waiting for my answer to her previous question. 

"Andrew Jackson" I revealed his name in extreme distaste that I could see Daisy flinched at my tone.

Seeing that, I softened my tone, "We are trying to find his location. You don't worry too much about it."

She narrowed her eyes glaring at me, "Don't you dare to repeat that sentence if you love your life."

Daisy closed her eyes controlling anger and exhaled heavily, "I want a promise from you."

My brows furrowed in confusion at her words as I nodded.

"I would like to meet that scumbag when you got him" she said instantly boiling my blood in rage.

"NO WAY" I shouted, "Are you mad? Or do you think I'm mad to let you step near him? Not even his filthy shadow should fall on you."

She rolled her eyes carelessly and my anger reached to it's peaks at that. Gripping her elbow somewhat rashly not able to control myself, I gritted out. 

"I'm serious, Daisy. Dare to go near him, you'll see the worst of me."

But she jerked her arm from my hold and glared at me.

"Well, then don't talk to me, ever" she hissed. 

"Daisy-" I tried.

But who could succeed in that? After all she is my sister.

"It's a deal, Hunter. Think about it. I'll forgive you for hiding the truth if you let me meet him once you got him."

I narrowed at her not liking even a bit what she's talking. Still, I don't want Daisy to be away from me. In these days, I only got a glimpse of her only 3 times. Every time I tried to talk with her, she ran away from me not even looking at me. It's a hell not talking to her, not seeing her usual chirpy smile on her face and knowing she's hurt because of me.

Reluctantly, I agreed to her demand.

"Words, Hunter. I want words. Promise me" she ordered.

See!! Told you she's my sister.....

I sighed, "I promise I'll let you meet him."

An adorable smile adorned her face as she jumped on me again hugging tightly. Atleast we're back to normal.

"Thank you, Hunt" she kissed my cheek. 

I chuckled and twirled her around as her laughter boomed in the room. Putting her on the ground, I asked.

"So, now tell me what made you come me?"

She grinned sheepishly, "Mel."

My brows shot up in confusion, "Melody?"

Daisy nodded, "Yeah. I told her about our parents. You know what she did? She supported you. Said that you guarded me from that pain and you don't deserve my anger. Also Tyson and Mel said the same thing that I'd do the same if I'm in your place."

I don't know why but hearing Melody supported in my decision build the immense joy within me. Daisy continued speaking.

"And after Mel told me about her parents, I realized I'm being unfair to you when you're only looking out for my safety."

My mind struck on the words that Melody told about her parents, I instantly asked her.

"What is it about her parents?"

She replied curiously, "Why do you want to know?"

I shrugged, "Well, She's living here since few weeks. I should know her more."

She rolled her eyes at my reply but didn't answer my question. When I repeated it, her demeanot suddenly changed to sad.

"It's not my place to tell her story. It took years for her to be comfortable enough to share it with me. So, I don't wanna break her trust sharing that with you. If you want, ask her. It's up to her if she wants to tell you or not."

I nodded understanding. I too want to know her past from her lips only. So, I let it aside. 

"Looks like I need to thank her for making you forgive me" I stated trying to lighten the mood.

Grinning hugely, Daisy replied, "You definitely should. She explained clearly why you did it when I failed to understand your intentions."

I smirked inwardly thinking the way I'm going to thank her.

"We're going to a party this evening" I informed as maybe she forgot it with these events.

As I expected she looked confused at first then her eyes widened when I explained.

"I told you remember, Mr.Sterling held a party tonight as his son taking over his business."

"YEAH" she screamed making me wince. She started talking frantically and began to hit me, "Why didn't you remind me earlier? I didn't even choose the dress."

When she saw my surprised face, she chuckled sheepishly.

"Oops!! I forgot I didn't let you. Okay, I'm going now. Byeeeee" she shouted running towards the door.

Suddenly, she stopped turning around facing me. Daisy now had a wicked smirk on her face.

"Don't forget your promise Hunter. You break it, I'll break your bones to pieces."

I chuckled at her retreating figure. But I won't doubt that she'd try to do it if I break my promise. Like I said, she's my sister. She don't give false threats.

I sighed thinking about the party tonight. I don't have to mood to attend it. But in my business, Mr.Sterling helped me a lot. Yes, I have my own company. I can't get this luxury with only being a MC president, right. I'm the C.E.O of Black Industries. Though I rarely go to the office, Kade really helps me with the office work. He don't do anything much in racing or club matters. Because of Cara, he don't want to indulge in any dangerous matters. But I know I can count on him with anything. That's why he don't get much time to be around. 

Antonio Sterling is my business partner. Now his son, Richard Sterling is taking over his business. So, it's a must for me to attend this party. If it's not for Antonio being my partner and also Dad's close friend, I bet I'd ditch this party for sure.

Suddenly Melody came to my mind bringing a smile to my face. I have to thank her for confronting Daisy.

Oh!! I'd love to thank her in my own special way..... 

Smirking at my thought, I quickly rushed to meet My Sweet Melody.

But when I reached downstairs, my steps halted and an unknown feeling burns my heart. There she is. My Melody..... In the arms of Alec.

They are so close. Alec's hand circled her waist and his other hand is on her shoulder. Melody's both hands were on his chest burning me more in this feeling. What's happening to me?!  Seeing them so close and intimately, I can only see red infront of my eyes. 

Soon, they parted for my sake but like always, Melody didn't shy away from him. Instead, she laughed with him so freely. Alec too smiled at her too softly for my liking. They're talking and joking with each other in their own world without even noticing me. This irks me more. Melody is laughing with him. She didn't do that when she's with me. 

I can't take this anymore. Alec is crossing his limits. I'm not just going to standing here without doing anything. With that thought, I marched over them deciding what to do.
