"Run!!! Save our child." Maya's parents shouted. By that time, Maya was a baby. The village was being attacked by enemies from another village. Fire was everywhere and Maya's parents ran with her."Where do you think you are going with that baby?" They stopped in their tracks when they heard the voice." Please leave us! Spare us!" They begged.
      The father distracted the man and Maya's mom started running."Go after her!" The tyrant man shouted. She ran and arrived at the forest. She started looking around only to find a pit which was covered. She opened it and did not even waste her time to look inside. She kissed her baby giving it sleeping pills and putting her in the pit.
      She covered the pit and wiped her tears,"I'll come back for you my baby." She said as she left. She went to where her husband was, only to find him dead."Nooooo!" She shouted and that is when her voice was heard."Go and finish her. Don't ever leave someone in this village alive!" They went as they followed the orders and killed the woman.
      Days passed and one day, a husband and wife were passing by the pit."Have you hidden it properly in the pit?" The man asked his wife."Yes! I did. Let us see if it's there. I heard there was a fight in this human village. Nobody survived." The wife said opening the pit only to find a baby there.
     "Look! There is a baby here." She said and the man ran to her."A baby? What baby?" The man asked and looked at the baby."I think it's a human baby. But who could leave their baby here?" He said as he picked up the baby. He gave it to his wife and the wife said it was a girl." We will look after it." The wife said."We can't do that! She is a human and we are vampires."
         The man said as he collects their utensils which they hid."But she is a baby and if we leave her here then she might die. I do not have a child, atleast let me look after it. Don't worry, we will give her our blood and she will be a vampire." The wife added looking at her husband."What if she doesn't change?" He asked."Am sure she will. She is still a baby and once she consumes our blood then she will crave for more just like she craves for milk when given everyday."
     "OK, I hope it will work. Now let's go before that tyrant man comes. And hide the baby so that other vampires don't see her. Also make sure you do not pass near vampires or else they will smell her." Just as instructed the wife used another route and they went to their town.
       They arrived at home but the baby was still not awake."She is not waking up. I think she was fed something." She said as she picks up a knife. She cut her wrist and poured her blood in a container. She gave her husband the knife and he did the same. They mixed their blood and fed it to the baby.
       They waited and kept feeding her more and more. After a few minutes, they heard a little cough. They looked at the baby and saw her opening her eyes. The wife was happy so was the man. The man carried the baby and could not obtained his happiness. He kissed his wife and said,"for the first time in my life I got to hold a baby in my arms."
     The wife hugged him and the baby did not cry. She was smiling and the man said,"I'll name her Emma." The wife nodded and they both hugged the baby together. The wife left and went to buy baby clothes for the baby. She came back and changed the baby to her new clothes burning the clothes she had.
     "I think our blood worked on this human baby." The wife said."Human?? Did I just heard human?" They were shocked. They turned around and looked at the door only to find Jake there. Jake was arrogant and he never controlled himself if he would smell a human."I think I heard a human." He said.
     The wife looked at her husband and said," Yes! human. We went to the human village. Didn't you hear there was a fight and nobody survived?" The wife said hiding the baby. Luckily, Jake believed their words and never saw the baby. They sighed and the husband said,"We should hide her until she is ready to go to school. When people ask you then say that she belongs to your sister who died."
       She accepted and they started their job as parents. Giving her blood everyday. One day, Oliver arrived. Oliver was the vampire whose father controlled the town. She greeted them and sat down. The baby started crying and Oliver heard."Where is the sound of baby coming from? I thought you had no child?" The man came out from the back room with the baby.
    "This baby belongs to my wife's sister who was also a vampire from another vampire town." Oliver looked at the baby and said,"Aww, she's soo cute. Can I hold her?" The wife looked at her husband and they were afraid. They were about to give her the baby when someone entered. A handsome man. Since vampires live for many years, he was handsome no matter his age.
       Oliver could not take her eyes off him. He entered and hugged the man and his wife."Welcome back, Rey." The man said."Thanks uncle." He said and the wife asked,"how are your parents?" He answered that they were fine and saw a baby."Woow what a cute little baby."
     His uncle told him to go and rest since he came just now and he accepted. They told Oliver that she can come later and told her to go. She accepted and went looking back at the baby. After Rey finished everything, the man and his wife wanted to tell him everything since they could only trust him. They explained everything and Rey was shocked.
     "Soo..she is a human baby?" He asked and they nodded."Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret. And I'll also give her my blood." He added as he took a knife and cut his wrist. He fed the blood to Emma and she was happy."Woow! Look. I think she likes your blood more than ours." The wife said and Rey smiled.
