Background Story :


Maria is one of two adopted children  of the Canadian Science teacher  Ian Selfridge and  Aussie-canadian plastics surgeon Dr. Deborah Christie Selfridge . Maria never knew her real parents. She has raised up with the Selfridge's in Montreal, Canada. There she has gone to St. Martin's ; a roman catholic school but she left three years  before graduation. Unlike her sister Anastazia who is studying business economic,  Maria didn't want to make it to college and instead; she chose to complete her path as a martial artist . 


Influented by her sister, Anastzia applied to Judo class but she left the dojo once she got her orange belt.


Maria predatory instincts started way too early . In her childhood she was referred several times to the adjustments school. The school records described her as " very wild" with a "bullying attitude " as she was terrorising the pupils - mostly boys - in class therefore they couldn't report her to the teacher.


Maria didn't know about her past till she has reached her twelve of years when she found out by accident , then her parents decided to tell her the truth, which she didn't accept it at first . Her love for music started way much earlier when her parents introduced her to a variety of musicians and artists . 


Her story with fighting :


Maria is obsessed  with Mixed Martial Arts, but her passion with the different martial arts she trained and the reason behind it started at very young age, when Maria watched one of ' Bruce Lee' movies for first time and got attracted to it instantly . Her father noticed her mimicking some of Bruce's moves; he then tried to develop the love of the fighting arts in her by signing her and motivated her to learn self-defense at a nearby martial arts school. At the age of five she started training Shotokan Karate , she has; since then studied different fighting techniques and has trained in many different martial arts, including Gung Fu and Judo . She has earned a brown sash in Gunk Fu, black belt in Karate, purple belt in Aikido, black belt in Taekwondo, brown belt in BJJ  and won different competitions and championships in and outside Canada.
