I have a question. Why is it so hard to actually be yourself around like your crushes and in life general ? It seems like we are scared of what they think because people cocer the true them when the person they actually are is an amazing one to see. That's my question.

Because we are human..we want people to like us , love us and treat us like we matter, the feeling of being special .but we are afraid to let people in on our lives, getting to know the real us. as we are scared of the judgements we'll face by doing so...but hiding behind a mask ,we think it's beter but in reality it becomes a part of you , your life. We hide our true self, our inner bueuty... but a person who can't see you for you, love you for your true self ain't worth the heartache..the tears and the pain So don't ever underestimate yourself and what your worth

@Lisa Bouwer That is what you should do but not what every girl or person does. They let all of their negative get to them and let it determine who they are and should be as a person. The truth is only you can determine your self worth. When you hide behind a mask you fall deeper into the whole you dug for yourself and become less human. Be true to yourself and you would be happy but that is not what people or society think. That is why people don't.
