She felt light in her heart that she had forgiven but she thought she had made mistakes to have agreed to go out with him after what he had done to her in the past. She hastitated before dressing but thought about her promise of friendship then she thought of giving him a second chance of friendship. She took out the gown she wore at her graduation day. It was simple with classic touch sleeveless with elegant frills on the sides of the gown she matched it with a pearl set. She applied little mascara eyeliner with little puff of powder and blusher topped it up with dark red lipsticks applied generously. She wore a heels to match her dress. She checked herself again and again could not believe the make over. As she was waiting her phn rang she saw a call from him she knew he was waiting outside she went to meet him. He was mesmerised just stared at her could not believe it was her. She was looking like divine goddess. He just uttered " you are looking beyond gorgeous" she blushed deep shade of pink smiled shyly " thank you". He came out of his trance "let's go" he entered the driver seat and made her sit at the back. As they were going she did not say a word, the silence was broken by Raymond " so after so many years you are back didn't you miss your family there" she looked out of window  answers without looking " yes I missed them a lot they also missed me" he smiled " I was an idiot to have left you like that I should have been by your side" she looked uncomfortable with the topic " Ray pl let it be in the past I am only your friends so please  an we stick to that now". After sometimes he blind folder her " wait untill you see where I brought you" she was surprised but did not protest  she went obediently with him. After some times he opened the blindfold she was awed after what she saw was in front of her a sea beach on middle of the beach a table was laid with delicious dishes of all sorts, she was too happy. He made her sit first served the turkey and mixed rice with a glass full of red wine. It was too perfect for her. She shyly said " you did so much for this date I am impressed. It was all very nice arrangment." he was happy hearing that she liked it " thank you for liking it, I did not know that you would like it or not" sheookes amused at how nervous he was looking  to impress her " I loved it thank you it was a perfect outing for me" he looked up shyly " for me you are always special everyday seems to be a perfect outings for me" they both smiled. The headed back home as she was going out of the car she replied " you are my good friend still I need time to think about you being my special one" he shrugged his shoulder " you take your time then let me know OK bye talk to you later over phone" she bid him good bye but she was very happy that day it was a perfect day to her.
