"Look Davies all we need to do is talk! I won't hurt you or arrest you! You can trust me! I'm just like you!" Sheriff Hunt shouts from the ground.

"Fine then!" I shout back then I land gracefully on the floor. I transform back and so does she.
I could try to talk.

"Why are you here?" she asked. She crosses her arms waiting for a response. I shrug.

"I was just paying a visit" I said flatly. She raises a brow like she doesn't believe me.

"There's got to be reason why you're here. No one shows up here in this little town just for a visit." she said. I just stay silent.

She pulls out a phone and it looks like she types a message to someone. Then she starts walking.

"There's a couple of people you should meet" she says. She turns around and notices that I'm not following. I don't want to talk to more cops.

"They're just like us don't worry" she says calmly.

Oh?

Like me?

I decide to follow and offer her a ride on my bike since, you know she was running after me instead of using a car.

We come to a stop and I noticed we're at a bowling alley. And it's right across from the diner.

It's like 11pm so the old lady is closing up the diner. When she locks the door and turns around she gives me eye contact then a stern look.

Oh yeah.. I flipped that table full of food. Oops. I hope I'm not banned. That would be sad. It's the only good diner here.

I follow the Sheriff inside.

I see two men standing there as if they we're expecting us.

The one to the right is a light skinned guy with red eyes. He has short black hair and he has this doctor coat on. Why would I need to talk to a doctor?

The guy next to him is tall, dark skinned and has long hair that looks so soft. He has blue eyes that matching to this place.

"Mackenzie I see you brought the newcomer. That can only mean one thing." The guy with red eyes said. He looks at me then to the Sheriff.

"I was right about my suspicion. Davies here is a supernatural." she said.

"Woah woah hey! Why are you telling these people? Who the hell do they work for?" I said even though she said I could trust these people.

"Don't worry Jordan. We are just like you" The man with long black hair said. I just gave him a confused face. Then he extends his hands. I shake it.

"I'm Razi. I'm a Djinn." He says and lifts up a hand. A glass of water appeared.
"Want some water?" He asked.

"Don't mind if I do" I said and reach for the glass. As soon as I touch the glass it turns into blue smoke. Razi chuckles. I give him a stern look but I don't say anything that way I don't get kicked out of here.

"I create illusions" Razi says.

"Gee I didn't see that two seconds ago. " I said coldly. I was really thirsty. Razi puts a hand on the other guys shoulder.

"This is Diego. He's a vampire." He says but Diego just stands there. He doesn't seem like the chatty type.

"Davies already knows what I am. " Sheriff says.

"Yeah because someone didn't want me getting away after throwing food at them." I grin at her. She crosses her arms. Oh she doesn't seem like the friendly type too.

"Call me Mackenzie like everyone else." she says.

"And what are you?" Diego says. I was about to ask what he said because I almost didn't hear him.

I grin at them.

"Give me some space. I'll show you." I said and the others follow my order.

I stretch out my arms and out comes my wings. My horns are out whenever I summon my wings. Then I ignite fire on both my hands.

"I'm the fucking Jersey Devil.  Ever heard of that?" I asked. They take a moment to admire my transformation as if they never saw anything like me before.

"I've heard about it but I wasn't sure you were real until now" Diego says. Razi smiles.

"Do you know what this place is?" He asked. I transform myself back.

"A shitty town" I said. No one laughs.

"Okay other than that it's Havenfall. A havenfall for supernaturals. Just like us." He says.

"You need to change that billboard then. It says 'Havenfall is for Lovers' " I said and still no one laughs. Man these people are tough to crack.

"What I'm trying to say is that you can stay here. We'll protect you." Razi said.

"I don't need protection. And besides I have to stay here." I said. And I didn't realize what I said until Sher- Mackenzie asks that same question from before.

"What's you're reason then?" She ask calmly than before.

Fuck me. 

I can lie.

"I have none" I try to sound innocent. "You know what, I have no home so... I guess I can stay here. It's cheap. " I said trying to sound honest. They buy it.

"You can stay here with me then. I have rooms upstairs. " Razi said.

"You're welcomed here Jordan" he adds.

"You can call me JD" I said.

There's no good reason for me to stay but I appreciate their hospitality but to be honest...

Fuck this 'you can't pass this border' bullshit. I'm getting the fuck out of here and Satan can suck a fuck.

There's no real valid reason for me to stay.
