BARISSA
At night, people gathered in the ground. They lit up the place with lanterns.
Women were dancing and men were fighting with each other for fun. When Father and Adam walked into the ground, everyone stopped and stared at them. Louie and Phillipe, town fools carried a big chair and place it near the biggest lantern.
'Adam, why don't you be a part of this feast fight.' asked the father, pointing at the men who were fighting.
Adam was confused. He asked 'Feast fight?'
'Yeah, the unmarried men of this town displays their strength in front of the women. The winner can take a woman for either a night or a whole life.' the father replied.
'No. I have no interest in fighting.' said Adam.
The feast fight began. There were five men fighting. Women surrounded them, they created a circle by holding eachothers hands. The father pushed Adam into the circle.
'You are a part of it Adam. Fight for a woman.' said the father.
Men started fighting. The rules were simple, the one who falls on the ground is eliminated and the one who stands tall in the end is the winner.
Five minutes later, Adam stood tall.
'Ohh... Wow. I never thought you would win. You are a man with a body full of skills.' said the father.
The father came closer to Adam, put his hand over Adam's shoulder.
'Select your woman. Marry her or feed her tp your lust.' said the father.
Adam looked around.
After a few seconds he said, 'Barissa' in a loud voice.
The crowd became silent. A beautiful girl with black hair came forward. The father went towards the girl and pushed her towards Adam.
'She's all yours.' said the father.
The father ordered Louie and Phillipe to ready a room for Adam and Barissa.
Fifteen minutes later, the room was ready. Adam and Barissa went inside the room.
Adam looked at her and said 'You look beautiful with that ponytail. How old are you?'
'I'm 34 falls. Thank you.' said Barissa in a low voice.
Adam did some mind calculations and replied 'You are just 18 winters old. You are so young.'
Barissa smiled and started to undress herself.
Adam raised his hand and said 'Hey stop. Stop it , you don't need to do that.'
'But it's the rule.' Barissa replied.
Adam sat on the bed. He asked Barissa to sit next to him.
'I need some answers. Can you help me with that?' asked Adam.
