Chapter One | Discovery
Michael Hughes: Hey there Father! How did the meeting with the inner planets go?
Robert Hughes (His Father & Emperor): It went well. We were discussing everything, concerning the development of our planetary system.
Michael Hughes: I would have liked to be there. You know... To pick up a few leadership skills! [chuckles]
Robert Hughes: I'm sure you would've done well. {pats his son's right shoulder}
Michael Hughes: Is everything alright Dad? {looking worried} You have that look in your eyes.
(Emily Ford & Omar Moodoo, opens the door, to inform the Emperor about a fault in the shield domain of Michael's third planet.)
Emily Ford: Pardon the interruption, Your Royalty!
Omar Moodoo: We come baring bad news, Sir.
Robert Hughes: You don't need to bare it... I already know about it. {sighs worryingly}
Emily & Omar: You do?? {skeptically looks at each other} [both sighs] Thank goodness!!
Robert Hughes: No. We don't have a solution for that problem as yet.
Michael Hughes: But you said that, the meeting went well... {looking at his father with uncertainty} [yelling] What the actual heck, is going on here??
Robert Hughes: [shouting] I don't care if you're my son, damn it!! You will never raise your voice tone, in my presence... Am I clear??
Emily Ford: I don't think he meant to, Sir.
Robert Hughes: [yells] SILENCE!!!
Michael Hughes: I'm going to my chambers! {looking at everyone in the room} When there's a solution to that issue... Call me. {exits the room in haste}
Robert Hughes: {recalls Michael} A leader sticks through the tough times! A leader builds experience from early on in life, from wise and exceptionally experienced leaders!
Michael Hughes: What if I'm not cut out to be one? Then what? {walks up face to face to his father} You are NOT my King... You are just my Father. So stay out of my space!!
Omar Moodoo: [sighs] That's no way to talk to your father, Michael!
Michael Hughes: See {wears a smug look on his face} Mr. Moodoo gets it!! {leaves the room}
Robert Hughes: [yells dominantly] Everyone get out!!! {looking at Omar Moodoo in disgust} Especially you. I don't want to see you, in or around this planetary system, ANYMORE. I banish you!!!
Emily Ford: Sir, that's a bit careless! Don't you think?
Robert Hughes: I think... You should go with him as well. {looking at the monitoring system screens}
Emily Ford: But Sir...
Robert Hughes: {looks at Emily Ford} You are also banished! Good luck elsewhere!
Emily and Omar: {starts leaving the room}
Robert Hughes: No, no, no, no, no! Get into the S.Y.L.D (banishing & teleporting apparatus).
Emily Ford: But Sir... That device hasn't been used in ages!! {looks at Omar, then starts looking at the Emperor, in disbelief} I'm not getting in there, at all!!
Omar Moodoo: We don't have a choice, Em. It's either banishment or an electrical prism sentence, in an obscure dimension.
Robert Hughes: You know the way things work... I am impressed! [smiles dauntlessly] But you should've lead with this knowledge, instead of insulting royalty! Now GET IN!!!
{closes the apparatus's doors} {he tinkers his desired settings, then the device starts up, beginning to whir}
(after a few seconds in motion, Omar Moodoo & Emily Ford vanishes into a light blue, gold and silver array of lights. The Emperor wears a bland look on his face. But in that event... The fault they were supposed to configure a solution for, spiked an incredible volume of energy volts, thoroughly throughout the main & inner planets. What happens to Mr. Moodoo & Ms. Ford...
