Let's tell secrets
Let's tell secrets
waking up is the least of my problems today-I have to be woken up for SCHOOL. I mean, I'm only seventeen years old. how in the world am I gonna deal with going to a new school, meeting new people, and making new best enemies? this was all too much for me. luckily mum was always there to help me out.

"Dinora, how many times to I have to tell you to keep your junk out of the hallway?!" mum yelled from outside my room. I could hear her tripping and falling over my shoes and bags that I accidentally left on the floor soon as I got back home. she quickly bust in my room door as it hit the wall leaving a huge marked dent.

"Do you even listen to me sometimes?" she asked. all out of breath as her hand hanged onto her hips. I only shrugged because there really wasn't much to say to her. I was already too stressed out from attending a new school today. I didn't wanna be bothered with her bickering. not now.
"look, I'm sorry Mum, okay? but please just give me some space and time alone right now." I pleaded. she shook her head and didn't even budge. nothing I said did anything for her. instead she just went on about how this was the most important day of my life. for us both.
"you don't have time. you need to get ready right now. grace could be on her way over here right now as we speak."
grace? how could she now just tell me grace, was coming to pick me up? in case you're wondering... grace is s o me thing like my best friend. we've known each other since birth basically. I only say she's kind of my best friend because she's kinda always there for me when I need her. I mean, that's what besties do. right?
there was a slight echoing in my head going on, turns out it was only mum telling me "Grace is outside"

I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and turned to gather my things that just needed. everything seemed to be all over the place, I didn't know what to take to school and keep at home. gosh, know I know why mums always frustrated by me.
I quickly stuffed everything my bag could hold, into my bag. leaving my mum with a kiss on her cheek and fleeing out the door before even saying goodbye to everyone else.
I run up to Grace's car as she has this bothered look on her face. I swear, this girl never seems to be smiling about anything.
"you should've told me you were coming." I said as we both sat there quietly and drove off to school.
grace didn't seem to say anything for a minute. she kept quiet to herself. "hello? grace?"
"I don't know why you're ignoring me but-"

"Jesus can you just be quite?!" Grace shouted in frustration as she stopped the car. I didn't know what was her deal anyway. it's not like I asked her to come over to my house. although I do appreciate the thought.
"You can at least say thank you." she said. as she turned on the radio and then began to drive again. only in full concentration this time.
five minutes later we drive up into the school's parking lot where students were running to go meet their best friends that they missed over the summer.
the school was honestly pretty big, there was big empty spaces of of beautiful green grass, and flowers.
some students even sat there as they read books.

"you ready?" grace asked. she looked over at me with a slight smile on her face. I wondered if she was only smiling because she knew this was probably going to be the most uncomfortable day of my life.
"no but there's always a time to be."
I opened the car door as it flew open almost hitting a guy with long, black shoulder length hair. his eyes widen in surprise. this was just great... the first thing I ever do that embarrasses me.
note to self; Senior year: most likely to be clumsy
"hey bud, I'm so sorry. didn't even see you there."
I said, holding out my arms as it looked like I was trying to give him a big hug and kiss. I then realized that I was just a freaking awkward ass person.
"does anyone really?" he replied. he then walked away into the crowd of students entering the building.

I then knew this was gonna be my hardest year yet.
oh and by the way, I'm a junior.
