Here, is the word I've been trying to get rid of lately. But, I couldn't. Here is a addict. It's one of those things that decided to peep into your life and stuck. Here is my everyday appetite. I munch it in breakfast and I can't sidestep it in brunch. I gulp it in lunch and pop it in desert. And of course yes, I swallow it in dinner! Yet, Here is friendly. It's one of the most amazing things that I experience. It's there, sitting softly at the em of my cushion; staring, watching. It's there, blushing at brightness and foolishness. It's there right by my side while I walk back home, shifting the frustrations of the day to my legs. Some people will wonder why I clutch my fingers. They'll never know there's something in there I don't want to let slip away. Here. It's here — the world exists and maybe no more — and I'm here!
