I'm so sorry
It was Saturday and Rosie was walking over to Willow's place. She had brought her list along of all the comics she suggested for her. "I hope she enjoys these." Rosie suggested to meet at the park. She wondered when the last time Willow had gone out of her house in her free time. "I haven't actually seen her leave the house, apart from going to school." As she continues walking, she starts to see the park in the distance and a few voices. "Must be popular today."
As she gets closer she notices a gang of people, shouting and their fists moving rapidly. She ran over to see what was going on. When she realised who was in the middle, she filled with rage and starting shouting and pushing everyone out the way. After she made sure that they were all gone, she ran back to the girl curled up on the floor.
"I'm so sorry that happened. If I knew that was going to happen I wouldn't of asked you to come. I would've got here sooner. I-I-I am so sorry."
Willow moved her hands from her face. Rosie was horrified when she saw the state of her. She had a black eye, her lip was bust and her nose was dripping with blood. The tears were mixing with the blood on her face. Rosie picks her up and holds her tight to her chest. She held her so tight, that it seemed like she would never let go. Willows arms slowly and carefully wrapped around Rosie.
"I'm so sorry that this happened."
"You can't apologise for something that you didn't do."
"I need to. I should've made sure you would be okay. I don't want this happening again to you."
"It always happens. This isn't something new to me. This is part of my life now. It has been for a while."
"You should've told me. Why didn't I see it? I would've stopped it. I would've helped you. I wouldve-"
"There was nothing you could've done to help. We didn't know each other. We were strangers. I dont really care anymore. This is a normal life to me."
"I care! This shouldn't be happening. Have you told anyone about this?"
Willie's voice dropped a little. "No." She was ashamed.
"I wasn't having a go at you, you know. I was just asking. I am worried about you. There's nothing to feel ashamed of."
"How did yo-"
"I can tell the differences in those tones, Willow. I can tell when you are happy, upset, ashamed and all that sort of stuff."
"Why are you so bothered about me? I am not loved and I don't need to be loved or cared for. We just met and you act like we have known each other for years? Why is that?"
"You are loved no matter what. Many people care for you. It might not seem like loads do, but believe me a lot do. I do. I care. I really do. And I ain't gonna stop caring for you."
Willow hugged tighter and whispered into Rosie's chest, " Thank you." She could feel her smile, she could hear her heart beating. It was a precious moment to her. She felt a tear land ontop of her head. "Are you crying?"
" I didn't want this to happen. I don't want this to continue. You don't deserve it. You deserve more. Better. A lot better. You deserve it now. I want you to have the best in life, and living like this isn't good for you. It mustn't be. It simply can't be."
Willow thought that she was getting what Rosie wanted her to get. She felt happier when Rosie was there. It feels good when she can hear her voice, it feels good to have Rosie in sight. It feels good to have company. She never wanted company, but now that's all she wants. "You shouldn't feel bad. None of this is your fault. Please."
Rosie pulls away a little and looks Willow in the eye. "I won't stop caring. I won't leave you. Whenever you need me, I am here. Whatever the time, I am here. You just need to tell me. Please. Tell me when you need me okay."
"I will." She nodded slowly, "I will." She looked at Rosie's shirt and her hands. They were covered in blood. "Rosie your clothes. Your hands. You need to get cleaned up."
"Don't matter about that. We need to get you fixed up. Come over to my house okay, I'll get you fixed up. If that is what you want. I mean we could go to your place if you want. You decide."
"My family don't exactly like people coming in..."
"My place?"
"If it's okay with you?"
"Of course it is. I wouldn't of suggested it if it wasn't. Come with me."
Rosie grabbed Willow's hand softly, guiding her through the streets back to her place. Willow never felt so loved. She felt pain, but Rosie felt like her medicine to numb the pain. To make her feel better.
Once the two girls reached Rosie's house, they stepped inside. Rosie took Willow's jacket and took her upstairs. She grabbed the medical kit that her parents kept in the bathroom. "Now this may hurt a little bit, and I am sorry." She carefully wiped away the blood from her wounds. She held a warm cloth on Willow's face. Her face went a red with blush, but she thought Rosie won't be able to tell with all the wounds on her face. She loved it when she touched her.
"Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, thank you."
Rosie smiled. She looked satisfied with her work. She put a little bit of cream on her face to help the wounds heal. She got up and put the medical kit away and got some clean clothes out and put them on top of Willow's lap.
"I cant wear your clothes."
"Its okay. Put them on. You can go get dressed in the bathroom if you don't feel comfortable in here."
" I cannot put your clothes on. They're yours."
Rosie smirked " Haha, well if you refuse to put them on, I guess I will have to put them on you myself."
Rosie stuck her tongue out at Willow. Willow knew that she was joking. "Where is your bathroom then."
Rosie looked impressed with herself and got up to take Willow to the bathroom. "Now take your time. There is no rush. You know where my bedroom is when your done."
"Thank you."
Rosie closed the bathroom door with a smile, then walked back to her room. "Poor girl. I wonder how many times was enough to class it as part of life." She was to nervous to ask that so she just left it.
When Willow was done she went to knock on the door before she walked in. " You don't need to knock, you can just walk in, silly." Willow smiled and Rosie looked at her. " See, it wasn't that hard."
"Thank you. Thank you for all that you have done for me over the days."
"Hey no bother. It's the least I could do. Say, I know that this is out of the blue and it is kind of a bit soon but, what would you say to a sleepover? Remember you can say no to me, Willow."
" I would have to ask my mother that."
"Do you wanna call her?"
"I would have to go home and ask if it's okay?"
"Of course it is. Let's go."
The girls exchanged smiles and Rosie went to get Willow's coat and helped her put it on, and out the door they went.
As she gets closer she notices a gang of people, shouting and their fists moving rapidly. She ran over to see what was going on.
