Shuddering in hope She trudged along Just to have a glimpse Of her resurrected Lord Nothing meant more Than this precious day To see Him in Glory Ascending Above A prove of His life And surety of All lives Was His mission Fully accomplished this day Over 2000 years ago, Heaven and earth witnessed The ascension of the King Unto greater realms of glory To prepare a place of beauty Both for you and I. So as our day unveils Let our minds Upon Him remain Refusing to be choked away By the cares of this world And seeming pleasures Of the world enticement Rather unto Him Let's press forward Becoming as she Focused on our precious King ©heavenly_broadcast # PUNCHLINE- As today marks the 40th day after Christ resurrection and the very day of His ascension, take time out, to reminisce and meditate on the wonders of His Grace towards you and the implications of All His acts for you; because even today, over 2000 years after, He still cares for you; and if you don't know Him yet, then take time out to get to Know Him, surrendering your life to Him, and you'll Never regret it.
