Chapter 4
She sat against her brother's grave, tears going down her face as she wrote in her diary. She really missed her brother, he was her best friend. Little did she know, River was there, watching her from a distance, feeling bad for her. River didn't even know her, yet he cared for her. Jasmine didn't know River was there but she stopped writing in her diary whispering to herself, "I am not going to be sad today." River heard her. She got up and put her diary in her bag. Smoke appeared near where Jasmine was and it freaked her out, River wasn't doing this. She walked to the forest, where her car was parked quickly and tripped over a tree stump and scraped her knee. It was bleeding and River could smell it, so he kept his distance. Jasmine got back up and wiped any dirt off her knee. She got in her jeep and drove home. River knew who caused the smoke, it was his old friend from a few years ago,
