Laws of magick
Magick flows throughout the world and through all things.

Any form magick is by nature difficult to control. If a caster is not careful they could easily blows themselves to bits, age quickly, turn themselves into a statue, or go insane, depending on the type of magick.

Wands make learning magick easier and safer, although casters still need to be careful. Wands act as extensions of the caster. Wands allow casters to more easily absorb and channel magick.

Staves are used to cast incredibly powerful and strenuous spells, spells that could easily kill the caster if a staff is not used. Staves don't need the casters magicka as they contain their own magicka. While wands are limited to the casters and the knowledge of magick they posses and the limits of magicka flowing through the caster, staves are without limitation of magicka only knowledge of magick.

Magicka that flows through the bodies of sentient things will always replenish. Depending on how strenuous the spells or rituals the caster performs, the magicka could replenish within seconds or it could take years, depending on the strain.

Mastery of even just one type of magick could take decades of practice. Mastery of all types of magick takes lifetimes, although it is possible to accomplish this task in one lifetime but it would require extreme talent.

Demons, Nargur, fairies, Pixies, and Uss’tari are all susceptible to the rules of magick. All these creatures can cast master level spells, perform master level rituals, etc.

Gods are not susceptible to the rules of magick at all. The exception being demigods and Deifics.

Not even Wizards can break the laws of magick.

Staves are the only non-sentient things that replenish magicka. The magick will always replenish within seconds.

Non-sentient things have a finite amount of magicka.

Gods are the only things capable of creating non-sentient things with replenishing magicka, given that the gods created the staves of which there are 20.

Users of necromancy lose parts of their humanity everytime they “breathe” false life to the dead. If a necromancer does this to much they will lose their humanity completely and they will become a horrific monster called the “Lich”. Liches still retain intelligence but are no longer alive and resemble a corpse. Most necromancers are completely oblivious to the side effects of necromancy.
