It comes slowly
... And the boy turned to the source of the sound.
"You are not going to hurt me right?"
His voice was quiet, shy and filled with fear.
"Ohho ho no of course not my dear I won't hurt you. We will be friends" said a woman probably 35 years old judging from her voice.
The room was getting colder.
"Why is this room getting colder? Show yourself please! I can't see you through the thick fog of darkness"
The boy begged the woman
"You are growing up my dear. Soon we will be friends" said the woman
"But... Why can't we be friends now? I think you're a nice person just a little scary"
The boy said
"You're filled with positive energy, joy and with your innocent child heart. I don't like it" the woman explained to him but the boy seemed to be confused.
"Well we can play videogames... Or just games outside. Like friends do. Right?" he asked.
"We will play games when you will be older. Games with alcohol and cigarettes. If we will become best friends then with knives and maybe drugs. Our friendship will be great"
The boy shrugged
"that sounds dangerous. B.. But anyway how should i call you?"
He asked with small growing curiosity after knowing she was no threat to him. Or was she?
"Well... People call me different... But don't rush it. We will create a nice name for me later alright? Now go to sleep so you can grow up and we can become friends."
The boy was confused about her words.
What she meant?
"Can i ask?" he asked shyly not wanting to make her angry like his mother would get if he bothered her.
"Of course my dear"
"I was curious... Where are we?" the boy more curios tone of his voice
"Well... You know the answer already. Just look around you and you will understand it"
Replied the woman.
Everything disappeared that was surrounding the boy. He was suddenly laying on his bed. And his phone beeped. He slowly - half asleep and half tired- reached for it and took it.
It was 2:58 am and his crush left him one unread message.
"Hi. I know this is probably a late message but it takes a time to send from China.
Since we don't have stable Wi-Fi connection. I was wondering if you would like to go out after i return from my holiday"
What should he reply?
