The feeling of love and hate is caused because of caring. Every person around us wants to be cared by others but, do they care for the others? NO. So, for how long can these people care about a person who never does something good in return? Every person has a point where they looses every good in him and decides to give what they get. And when they do so, we call them jerks because, they have changed. They forget that, the changes are caused by their own deeds. They might be a lot of people around you, who cares about you. They don't want you to care about them the same way they do but, they want their efforts to be valued. So it's simple, "If you don't care about others, don't expect others to care about you."
