ARUN and DISHA
THE CUP OF LOVE and CARE
THE CUP OF LOVE and CARE
Arun and Disha were sitting in a coffee shop. The dark blue mat on the floor and the milky white ceiling, reflecting from every cups and plates and windows, spread a blue shadow all over the coffee shop. They were sitting near the window so that, they could get a clear view of the outside. It was four in the evening so, their were very few customers in the coffee shop. A waiter, wearing a dark yellow colored shirt and black pant, came to their table.

'Sir, your order?'   asked the waiter. He took a small book out from his shirt's pocket and was ready to note down their order.

Arun ordered two cappuccino.

When the waiter left their table, Disha poured water in a glass and kept it in front of him. Arun grabbed her hands. He slipped his hands under hers, his fingers found a way to lace with hers.
Disha was blushing, so was he. The smile on Disha's face made him forget the world around him. He felt like he was walking  in a field full of white daffodils.

Disha tapped on his hands and asked    'What happened?'

Arun withdraws his hands.

'Sorry.'     said Arun.

Arun's behavior was weird because, he was thinking about himself, comparing him with the the past him and the present.

Two years ago....

Arun was working in the back office of multinational company. It was evening, and he was sitting in the cafeteria, drinking coffee. A boy and two girls, who were working in his office, were sitting behind him. They were laughing, making fun of each other and talking about senseless things.

Few seconds later, when they started their cringe talk, Arun became angry. He was angry and jealous at the same time because, he never hand a girl with whom he could talk like that. And his anger exploded like a volcano.

He jumped up, yelled 'Veruppikaandu poda patti' and left the cafeteria.

[Meaning :- Get out you dogs]

Disha kicked Arun from under the table.

'Are you here or did I loose you?'     asked Disha.

'I love you, Love you lots, '     said Arun, with a straight face.

'Really? I couldn't see a bit love on your face?'    said Disha.

Arun chuckled.
