I thought I was over this, it happened so long ago
Yet it still haunts me, I just can't let it go
Those old thoughts are running back no matter how many times I try not to crack
I'm trying my best to ignore the yelling in my head
But soon yelling turns to screaming and screaming turns to shrieking
The only way to escape them is sleeping
Not sure how much longer I can take it but I'll try my best
I'll try I promise I won't give up
