A cold feeling of loneliness had aroused me from my beauty sleep .As I contemplated on the reason of my arousal I realised that he wasn't there.I was devastated and hurt. We had been together for 3 years and this was not the first time we had slept together,but he had left this time.All alone in my room.I sat up in bed and then searched the washroom and everywhere.He was gone.He had left me.He had promised that he wouldn' t leave me but he had.He never kept his promise.I couldn't control my tears as they ran down cheecks.I ran up to my brother's bedroom who was up studying.I ran and hugged him,told him what had happened.He held me till I stopped crying and comforted me.He then askede if i had searched everywhere.I had said yes.He then took my hand and went up to my room.There he wiped away my tears and asked if I had searched under the bed.I answered that l hadn't.He then bent low and searched under the bed.And there he was .My teddy bear.My favourite teddy bear. My brother just laughed at me and ruffling my hair put my Teddy and me in bed.
This had happened when I was three.Now when i recall it i laugh at my own idiocy.But my brother says," What could we expect from a 3 year old?". That's true though.I was too small.And I still have that Teddy even though I'm 16. It is still my favourite.
