“Alex? ALEX?” A voice screamed,

“Huh?” Alex snapped out “Sorry, was I dreaming again?”,

“Yeah, class is finished, how did you not hear the bell?”,

He turned to his right and a beautiful girl covered his vision, she had pitch black hair styled with curls, samphire blue eyes and skin of divine quality,

“Sorry Lex, were you talking?”,

“You okay? You’ve been daydreaming a lot” said Lex with a worried look,

“Yeah I’m fine, I’ll meet you in the cafeteria, I need the bathroom” Deicide hurried his words, he packed his books from the table into his backpack and hurried through the classroom door,

“Wai... Hhmm he never opens up...” She spoke softly as she watched him leave,

Alex walked into the school hall and pulled out some earphones from his pocket along with his phone, he placed the earphones in his ears and clicked play on his phone. Fur Elise by Beethoven smoothly started playing into his ears, as it did so he slowly walked through the hall. As he walked by he passed girls talking to each other, 2 boys picking on a smaller kid, a couple making out and some students with instruments. He kept walking not caring for his surroundings until he reached a door with a male stickman sign. He opened the door slowly and took his earphones out. As he entered, the door closed behind him and he stood still for a second, he was alone. Alex slowly walked over to a sink and turned the cold water on, he cupped his hands under the tap and water started collecting on his palms. As the water started pouring out, he closed his eyes and  splashed it onto his face. He slowly opened his eyes to stare at himself in a mirror, void black hair covered his right eye, his left one glowed emerald green, his face was defined with gentle skin,

“Just ask her already” He said to himself with a sorrow tone “What’s the worst that could happen?”,

He pulled to one side and plucked some paper towels from a box on the wall next to the sink. He started cleaning his hands, the paper towels soaked in all the water from his hands and then he pressed them against his face, drying his skin. As he finished, he crumbled the towels and threw them in a bin by the door, Alex started walking towards the door and grabbed the handle. The door swung open with little effort from him. Carrying on making his way down the hall, Alex started to notice all the bullying happening around him. The big guys would pick on the little ones, girls gossiping behind each others back, missing posters of people due to bullying,

“What have we done to ourselves?” he mumbled under his breath,

After walking for a few minutes, he reached the cafeteria hall, looking inside he noticed it was almost empty as usual, a few groups were scattered throughout the room but it was quiet,

“ALEX! OVER HERE!” Lex shouted, it echoed throughout the cafeteria and all the little groups stopped and stared,

With his head down Alex walked over to Lex who was sat in the middle of the room, as he got close to the table he pulled a chair and sat down facing opposite her,

“You’re embarrassing, you know that?” he whispered to her,

“Hehe, sorry!” Lex apologised with a cheerful tune and a winking eye “anyway, to business. About this weekend... Am I still cool to pop over to yours?”,

“Huh yeah, I guess. Want me to pick you up?” Alex replied,
“Of course! I love your car!” she exclaimed,

“Its not the car you should love...” he mumbled “what time?” Alex asked,

Lex pulled out her phone and opened a timetable “Well, I’ll finish work by 8, so, 8:20?” she asked,

“Fine, well school finishes in an hour, I’ll go home and grab a shower. I’ll have some time to kill before I come get you” Alex explained while looking at his black wrist watch,

“Sweet, see you later tonight then. I gotta get to Psychology!” Lex exclaimed as she got up from her seat,

“Yeah I got History” said Alex standing up as well,

“I know” she winked at him,

They both walked over to the exit doors and separated, Lex going left to a junction at the hall and Alex turning right going back to the classroom he was just in a few minutes before. As they started walking, he stopped and looked back to see the Alex walking away, he didn’t know why but he felt this would be the last time he would see her for a while, he’s wished she would turn back just once, just so he could see those eyes again. But she didn’t, and soon she was out of view. He turned back and started walking to class, as he did so he plugged his earphones in and carried on listening to music. The time was 17:29, classes were finished for 9 minutes. Alex started walking towards his car in the parking lot outside the school, as he got near he saw the spoiler emerging from the back of his car. The car was a Toyota GT86, he got it for his 18th birthday from his dad, it was a glossy black with red squares for vinyls. The rims were just as black as the car with red outlines running across the outside edge of the rim. Alex got close to the left door and opened it, throwing his bag across the inside of the car onto the passenger seat. As he did so, he sat down in the driver seat and closed the door behind him. He placed his left hand on the steering wheel, he griped it, feeling every inch of the leather, the small squeaks echoed inside the car, he slowly took out the car keys in his right pocket with his right hand and placed it in the ignition, turning the key. Suddenly a loud rumble and roar echoed outside as the key turned, his right hand then placed the car into reverse and he drove backwards out of the parking lot. He then shifts it into 1st and the car takes off leaving tyre marks on the floor. The sound of the exhaust ruined the beautiful sunset happening behind him.
