And I Wonder...

When the wind blows through your hair,
And when they scatter them on your face,
Behind that curtain I can't see your eyes,
And for a while you let the mischievous wind play with those soft tendrils,
You wait like a patient adult,
Letting the child have it's way.
And I wonder ...
If you could talk to the wind?
Just as I can do with the birds.
I watch you from my window,
Sitting down there on a green meadow,
Leaning against a tree,
Carefree,
With a book open in one hand,
You seem immersed.
And I wonder ...
If you're still here?
As I too sometimes wander,
 In the world of letters...
Birds chirp and squirrels run around you,
Not scared, they seem to like you,
Blooming flower gently swirl in air
And I wonder ...
What it would be like to sit beside you?
