My great BD
I woke up feeling different.
Somewhere inside me felt happy.
I looked at the calendar.
It was December 9.
My birthday.
I am 15 now.
I sat back down.
It was a Saturday morning.
I waited for something.
maybe I waited for my dad to put the Mañanitas on.
Maybe I was waiting for him to atleast hug me?
or mayb I was just waiting for someone to atleast tell me something letting me know that atleast someone cared about me.
I started hearing whines from downstairs.
Great.
My dad forgot to feed the dogs and let them out of their cages.
I slowly putted my coat on and my slippers on.
I checked if my dad went to work.
His car wasnt in the driveway.
I lazyily went downstairs finding two heads poppingbout of the cage.
Both Sideswipe and Sunny wagged their tails letting me know they were happy to see me.
Atleast someone still cared, I thought.
Both my shepherds went upstairs before I did and I could hear them just roaming around the living room.
I took their dishes of food outside into their dog houses.
Both raced into it before I arrived.
They sat their waiting for me to say 'Go' so they could start eating.
"Aw, both r cute," I smiled and then made a hand signal for them to eat.
I looked up to see the sky.
It was cloudy and cold.
I shivered in my coat as I sat watching my dogs eat.
I felt miserable.
It was my birthday.
But no one was there to tell me it.
I miss my old life.
The one where everyone was happy.
i had church today.
i was excited for it.
Tho, I never really listen the pastor, I go to the youth class and do my homework. That' s all? No. Nathan was there. She is my friend. my best friend. She has always been there to protect me. She was chuby, she looked asian tho she was mexican. She didnt care what anyone thought of her. Thats what I liked of her. I smiled at that thought of her.
I looked at the concrete below me. Footsteps. They were on the concrete.
i smiled.
My little brother's footsteps.
It was when my dad and mom were making tje concrete.
My brother didnt know it.
And you might guess what happened next.
