Here I am, all alone. My parents abandoned me in the woods. Why? Because I couldn't turn into a wolf. Yes, you heard me right. I am a werewolf, but I haven't shifted yet. Yesterday was my 16th birthday and then it's normal to shift into your wolf form. My parents are the alpha and the luna so I was supposed to take over the pack, but now of course that is impossible.
So here I am alone. I could try 2 different things. Go back to my parents or to look for my mate.
The last words my parents said to me were: "You are no longer part of this family."
Then they walked away. They had tied me up with ropes, but I already got them to lose. What did they expect after years of hard training?
You know what, I am gonna go home and take some stuff out of my room to take with me to go into the big world.
When I got to my home I climbed with a tree to my window. Luckily my window was still open, or else it would be a completely different story.
In my room, I took my biggest backpack and put 3 pairs of trousers a lot of t-shirts one sweater and 2 extra shoes in it. Also, I took my school bag, and in there I put in my diary, pencils, and other drawing supplies. Of course, I also put some other survival supplies into my bags and my wallet not to forget.
Suddenly I heard my friends talking with my parents in the hallway. Now I do need to go as fast as possible or else they will able to smell me. One of my friends said to my parents: "So you say that you left your daughter tied up alone in the wood?? She was our friends, but why?"
I didn't hear what my parents said back but I did hear what one of my other friends said: "I will search for her if you like it or not." Then my father yelled in his alpha voice: "You are not going anywhere." Nobody can go against an alpha voice, well unless you want to be deserted by the pack. But then no other pack wants you. I didn't hear anyone talking back.
I wrote quick a letter for my friends and parents and climbed back down from the window and started to run towards the woods and just kept running and running and running till I was sure I was close to a big city. That way they would have a difficult time finding my smell. Because in a bigger city it is more difficult to find one particular werewolf smell since in the biggest cities there are all kinds of creatures.
I want this big hotel because I wouldn't get noticed there. The only thing I could do against my smell is wearing a necklace I got from a family friend's witch. The necklace looks like this old pendant with an emerald in it.
I've known that witch since I was a little kid. I would miss her, she is like a grandmother to me. She doesn't look old, but sometimes the appearance isn't what it seems.
I finally arrived in a city. Now I need to find a place to stay the night and come up with some sort of a plan.
I walked inside the hotel and someone from the hotel at the front desk asked me: "What can I do for you?" I replied politely: "Is there still a room available for this night and tomorrow morning?" The employee of the hotel said: "I will check it for you." She walked to the computers at the front desk. Behind her computer, she looked up if there was still a room available and then she said: "You are very lucky. There is still one room available. Can I see your ID?"
I looked in my wallet, but I couldn't find it. I didn't think to bring my ID with me, what stupid of myself.
I look ashamed and sad and said: "Actually, I just ran away from my ex, he abused me physically. And well he knows some people by the police, so I'm scared that they will find me that way. Because his friends by the police are very good at finding people." In a way I did spoke the truth, cause my parents are powerful people and they do have friends everywhere. And it takes just one person telling my parents about my whereabouts, to find out where I am.
The woman looked shocked and replied: "Then I'm sure it's oke if I don't copy your ID. I understand you. Can you pay it in cash?" I took out my wallet and saw that I had more than enough cash by me. Cause lately, I've been working almost all of the evenings. But of course, my parents were really rich since they are the alpha and luna. Not that they keep all of their money, they also give a lot to the pack. They almost run it like a big business. So all the money I got from work I could save up. I asked the woman: "I can pay in cash, but what is your name?"
She laughed friendly and said: "My name is Chloe, you?" "My name is Serigala." Chloe said then: "The room costs 20 euro, you have a beautiful name. Does it have a special meaning?"
I took 20 euro out of my wallet and said: "My name is named after their favorite animal, the wolf. They just thought it sounds nice."
Chloe nodded and gave me a keycard. "Here is your keycard and my phone number. Make sure to call me if you ever get in trouble with your ex again."
Of course, Chloe doesn't know the real reason why I am here, but nobody may ever know it. On the bright side maybe someday Chloe her phone number may save my ass.
Before I walked away from the main desk I said: "Thank you, I will surely use your number when I have to." I just started to walk to my room. The first thing I did in my room was to take off my clothes and taking a much-needed shower. After running so much I can imagine how I smell. In the shower there where 3 mini bottles of shampoo and conditioner and a little piece of soap. I only needed one mini bottle of shampoo and the rest I am planning to take with me. You never know when there is another opportunity to take a shower.
After I was done taking a shower and had put on some comfy clothes I used the sink in the bathroom to fill with warm water and used the rest of the shampoo I used during the shower to clean my clothes of today. So that I can use them some time again.
After cleaning my dirty clothes I called room service since I am starving. "Good evening, what would you like to order?"
I looked at the menu and said: "One big pizza margarita with extra cheese and some Fanta with it." I could hear the man on the other side writing my order down, then he said: "What is your room number?"
"I am in room number 34." "Thank you and the food will be there as soon as possible."
In the meantime, I was just watching some tv when all of a sudden I heard: "Room service. " When I opened the door someone of the room service just walked in and put the food down at the table. I went and took my wallet and asked: "How much is the food?" The person answered to me: "It is twenty euro and 10 cents. "
I gave the person the money and he just went away but just before the door was closed he said: "Enjoy your dinner." Now its time to dig into this pizza. It truly smells and looks delicious.
After I was done eating I went straight to bed.
The next morning I felt full of energy and completely rested. For today I took out of my bag a sort of athletic outfit since I don't know what is going to happen, anything could happen and I need to be able to run away. After I was done preparing for the day I went downstairs to check out. I saw that Chloe was by the front desk again. She saw me and said: "You probably want to check out. I hope everything will turn out alright for you." I smiled at her and replied: "Thank you, here is the key card." I gave the card and she said: "Goodbye." Before I walked away I waved and said: "Goodbye and maybe I will see you again."
When I was outside I saw a bakery and bought some food there. So while I was walking I could eat something like breakfast. After that, I bought some food and water that I could keep for a longer time in the supermarket. Luckily my bigger backpack had plenty of room to store food and water in. But believe me, the bag isn't a light one. It is very heavy. But I have been trained since I'm little so I am stronger then I look. After a couple of hours, I was outside the city and there was again a forest. So I just started to run towards the forest.
While I was running in the forest I could smell other werewolves, instantly I put my hand towards my neck to check if I put on my necklace. But then I freaked out, I forget to put on my necklace this morning. Then I heard a lot of snapping of wooden sticks that were on the ground. With my shaper hearing and smell, I could detect 3 different werewolves coming my way. When they where all around me I could hear the bone snapping of them changing back to human and putting on some pants. When all the 3 boys were changed back, I think the alpha asked with a very powerful dominating voice: "What are you doing on our pack ground? " I had to tell him the truth cause else they could maybe know I'm lying and tell my parents and that fate is worse. "My name is Serigala Cantik Jansen and I fled from my pack because I haven't changed yet. And I have been left alone to die." They were all quiet, probably debating if what I said was the truth.
I think the beta was the first to reply. "Alpha, I don't think she is any danger for us. She can't even change and she is abandoned by her pack. The least we can do is give her shelter for the night. "
I think that they were talking through the mind link because for some time they just didn't say anything. They just stood there. After some time waiting the alpha said: "We don't see any danger in you having here. So you can stay for 2 days, but nothing more. " They didn't know that I was looking for my mate, so if he wasn't here then I have to go and find the next pack. I replied to the alpha: "I feel honored to stay with you all and I will only stay for one night. Well, unless.."
The alpha looked weird at me and said: "Unless what?"
"Well unless my mate is in this pack because maybe my mate could wake up the wolf inside of me."
The alpha just started to laugh at me: "Call me Rolf, on the right side is my beta Daan and on the left side my omega Timothy, but you can call him Tim. Follow Daan to the packhouse and we will see you there."
Then Rolf and Tim walked away and Daan said: "I am going to turn into my wolf, so you can sit on my back. If you want that." I nodded shy. "I'm okay with that." Daan changed into his wolf and bowed down so that I could go and sit on his back. His wolf fur was softer than soft. I leaned forwards and it kinda looked more like I was giving his wolf a big hug. But that is the best and safest way of sitting on a wolf. Believe me, you don't want to fall off while they are running.
Daan started to run as fast as he could towards the pack house with me on his back. I couldn't see a thing, because my face was in his fur and he was going extremely fast. After some time he just stopped running and there where all kinds of little houses and one big house in the middle.
Carefully I stepped off Daan, so that he could change back to his human form. I just waited for him when he changed back behind some trees. After I expected he changed back to his human form and came completely clothed back. Then Rolf and Tim also came walking our way. Tim said: "Follow me, I will guide you to your bedroom. Tonight we have a BBQ and you are invited to come if you want?"
"Of course I would love to come." You can't say no to an invite that comes from the alpha. We walked inside this gigantic house. Luckily Tim guided me through the house, or else I would seriously get lost. We came by a hallway with lots and I mean lots of doors, I think they are probably lots of bedrooms for guest, friends, and family.
One of the doors Tim opened. "You can put all your stuff here and de alpha is expecting you downstairs."
I went inside the room and put down my bags. I gave a quick look in the mirror to see how I looked and then walked back to Tim. Who was still waiting by the door. "I can go to alpha now." He nodded and we walked back to the alpha. The alpha stood in a big room with a couch, I walked towards the alpha while Tim walked away to somewhere else. The alpha looked at me and asked: "Can you cook a little?"
I didn't get why he would ask something like that, but I replied: "Yeah, of course, I can cook. Why?"
"The luna can get some extra help in the kitchen preparing everything for tonight." I knew immediately that it was a sort of order from the alpha and I don't want to disrespect him in his own house. "I would love to help the luna with cooking and preparing." The alpha gave me the instructions in where the kitchen was.
Once in the kitchen, I heard someone say: "You must be Serigala Cantik, I need your help. So I'm glad you wanted to help."
She looked so happy and bubbly, she smiled kindly to me and that made me instantly smile back. "What can I do for you?"
She replied: "You can help baking an apple pie for dessert and if you are done with that you can set the table and get everything ready for everyone."
She swept some flower off her face and because I didn't know what sort of apple pie she wants I asked her: "Is there a recipe for the apple pie? " She nodded and pointed at a little book.
I picked up the little book and found the apple pie recipe and went to work. In total there needed to be 25 pies backed. To be sure that there was enough for everyone. When I was finally done backing all the pies my face was covered in flower. I washed my hands and my face and then asked the luna: "How can I take all the plates with me?" She was very busy with all the preparations but replied quickly: "There is a cart which you can put all the plates on and put them on the table. "
I smiled at her and did what she said I should do. Luckily for me, some other pack members were willing to help me setting up the table. Because of those pack members, I was done much quicker. Sadly there was also a big group of people that just stared at me. Probably because I am from another pack and came here unannounced. I can imagine there is already a lot of gossip about me going around. After the preparations where done, I went to the luna and told her I was going to my room.
I went to my room to freshen up, but when I was inside the room I noticed that there were a dress and a pair of low heels by the bed with a note.
Written on the note was:
Here is a dress to wear, cause I think you don't have any fancy clothes with you. You can keep the dress and shoes.
-The alpha-
I wouldn't want to assault the alpha so I took a quick shower and tried on the dress. It fitted me perfectly and it was tight on the top, but ended in a tulle shirt with a little high low effect. I was seriously doubting if I wanted to wear the heels, those aren't the easiest shoes to run away with. But since I would be staying only a night, it wouldn't hurt anyone to enjoy my stay here as long as it lasts. So I ended up with the heels, I might regret it later. After getting dressed I walked back to the main hall. Luckily I was just on time, everyone slowly started to arrive. The Luna walked up to me and greeted me saying: "That dress is beautiful on you. It suits you so much better than me." "Thank you for letting me have this dress and shoes", I replied. The luna smiled friendly and then went on saying: "I bought that dress, but never really wore it. Come and sit with me and the alpha by the table." I followed the luna to the table and saw that Rolf, Daan, and Tim sat all by the same table with their mates. When I was by the table with the luna, Tim started to speak: "I want you to meet my mate Lisa and her best friend Anna also the mate of Daan."
"It is an honor to meet you all. You all look so beautiful tonight. " While I said that the girls just stared at me. Anna had a look that's like telling you to back away from her boy and that she really doesn't trust me a bit and Lisa just smiled kindly. She said while standing up next to Tim: "You look lovely yourself, come and sit with us."
I went and sat down next to Lisa. Then Anna just said to the alpha full with disgust: "What is she doing here? She doesn't belong to the rest of us. Not here with us." Then again she looked at me dirty. I was trained as alpha so comments like that I don't just take lightly, I replied: "Lisa, it is so kind of you that I can sit next to you. Anna please, if you have any problem with me here, just tell me. Don't go as a pathetic person straight complaining to your alpha. He doesn't have anything to do with this."
She looked like she was ready to kill me, a normal person would be scared of the dead know, but I knew better. The alpha came in between us and said: "Ladies, ladies, don't fight here tonight. Anna, she is our guest, so treat her as such and nothing more."
Anna's heard turned in all kinds of shades red and said sorry to me. Then the alpha stood up and said to al the pack members: "We celebrate our success as a pack. And tonight we have a guest with us. That she may feel welcome and respected here. Don't forget, be the best person you want to be and keep this family strong. And I almost forget, enjoy the food prepared by the luna, and good night to you all."
Then the alpha sat down again and everyone started to eat. After some time I started to feel really awkward and a bit out of place. Everyone was nice talking to each other and just having fun and I didn't know anyone or any subjects to talk to. I didn't know this pack well enough to start a conversation. Tho as I am observing, this pack looks truly like a close loving family. More kind and loving than what I am used to on a daily bases. It also didn't smell like my mate would be in this pack. It started to become an embarrassing situation for me. When I was done eating, I was getting extremely bored, I told the alpha: "If it's okéy, I want to return to my room to rest, I am exhausted. Thank you for this lovely meal."
The alpha nodded and replied: "I understand it, go and rest in your room and we will see you tomorrow."
So I walked to my room. I took off the dress and folded it to put it in my bag. I took a comfy shirt out of my bag to sleep in. I went and brushed my teeth and went to bed. It was a good comfy bed, like laying on a cloud of feathers. After a couple of minutes, I fell straight into a deep sleep.
