Michael and I were in his room when he said: "I found a book that explains so much of the history from the start of werewolves. When I was reading I found this strange thing."

I didn't understand why he was so concerned. "What is then so weird?" He looked at me and said with a big smirk on his face: "You will see it in a second."
I was now getting really curious about what Michael had discovered. Michael took out a really old book and he opened the book almost at the end of it and pointed to a part of it. "Go on and read what is written here."

I took the book out of his hands and started to read. In the beginning, it was about different species. It was really interesting to read because the book was a diary of someone who lived at that time. I turned to the last pages. But those were completely blank but bright white. That is odd.
"Why... How is it possible for those pages to be so bright white. How is it possible that they don't age?"

He looked at the book and replied: "I think there is a spell that protects the last couple of pages. I think the story goes on and I think that in there things are written we aren't allowed to know."

I nodded and then suddenly something came up in my mind. "I think a little while back there is something with a deeper meaning."

Michael looked at me, at the book and back to me. "What?"
I went to the right page and read out loud. "This may be the start for us. But many moments will come that might be the end. There will be a wolf one day, a wolf that is going to rule above all others. It will be the most powerful wolf that existed. But before that will happen many other special wolves will come before. But there will be only one with all the powers.
It will control all the elements, every species will have their own 'element'. But good won't exist without evil. There also will be very big enemies. Learn to know your friends, but also your enemy. In the end, everyone will fight for the same greater goal."

There wasn't anything else written there. The rest is a big mystery. I looked at Michael and his eyes looked almost lost. "You don't know what that means, do you?" He shacked no. "I think, or at least I am trying to understand that this is about you. But further, than that, I don't get."

I tried to explain to him: "I also don't know it for a hundred percent, but what I think is that this is a sort of prediction. But I will also look further into it. I will also keep your heads up in my research. "

Michael took the book back and put it back into place.
I told him: "I will be going." I was walking out of the room.
When I was almost back to my room, I heard this weird noise coming from the room. What is happening, what is that?
I walked into the room and I saw Romy crying her eyes out. I walked to her and placed my hand on her shoulder. "Hey, what is going on? Are you alright?"

She looked up to me and her mascara was all over her face and her eyes red from all the tears. It wasn't a pretty picture to look at. But that didn't matter.
She wiped her tears away. "I just got a phone call and I heard that there is a vampire clan attacking the Southern border of the werewolves packs."
I didn't understand why she was crying so much so I asked: "Do you have family there or anything?"
She looked at me and took in a very deep breath, smiled a little and said: "I will tell you why, but you need to promise to tell nobody. And I mean seriously nobody."

I feel really for her even though I don't know the whole story. "You can trust me", I said with as much of confidence and kindness as I could. She smiled faintly at me and started to talk: "I found my mate around a year ago. But he isn't a werewolf-like us. He is a vampire. He is one of the vampires from that clan that is going to do the attack. He is going to attack my pack. My mate, he doesn't want to, for me and my family. Sadly he has no choice. Disobeying orders is like going rogue. I feel so torn. I want to help my pack and fight back. But I love my mate."

I gave her a tight hug and could understand her feelings. "What would do in this situation, to protect my heart. It is just to shut me as much as I can out of it. You're not there now, you're here. Learning and growing. Don't let it get into your head too much. And we all are here for you." She hugged me and whispered: "Thank you."
She then sat down again and said: "It helps me, too finally talk about this all." It was still early in the evening, so I suggested: "Let's watch some movies and eat some popcorn."
"Sound like a plan", while she was smiling like me and bouncing around like nothing just happened. Which I didn't mind, to take her mind away from the pain is a good thing, that's important if you're friends.
The rest of the evening we watched all kinds of movies and snacked a lot. Trying to distract Romy from everything as much as I could.
