THE ELEVENTH DAY OF OT
14 August
So far, so good. The eight, ninth and tenth day were all about studies. Eight day about motivation, ninth day about future planning and tenth day was about 'what's next after CA'. After three boring days with no games, the students were exhausted.
On the 11th day, the students marched into their class like zombies. Half dead and half asleep. Lena, a lecturer of Reva college was waiting for them in the classroom. She was going to conduct the session. She seemed like a fun loving, low IQ teacher but, she wasn't. She was great in a way the students wanted their OT sessions to be. She didn't gave a fuck about the topics, she wanted to play games. Be a part of the group and fully enjoy the few hours she had with the students.
Prof. Lena decided to teach the students, the value of teamwork. So, she asked the students to play a game which was similar to passing the ball with a little upgrade. The ball was replaced by a wodden block and the students were divided into two groups. Eddie and Tessa were happy as they were in the same team.
After the groups were formed, Prof. Lena explained the rules.
- The rules are simple. Twenty-five students will be in each team. They'll stand in a line, on a wodden block, holding the hands of their team mates. The last person in the line will get down from his block and pass it to his left.
Pass Left.
Pass Left.
Pass Left.
And at last, the first person in the line will put the block in a bucket. The first team to put all the blocks in the bucket will be the winner.-
The game began. There were loud screams, laughter and little swearing but, everyone enjoyed it. Tessa and Eddie's group were the loosers. They lost the game by 5-0. After that, they played charades. But, Prof. Lena was forced to stop the game when Zoya and Payal started fighting.
An hour before the end of the session, an announcement was made by the office boy.
-Tomorrow is our Independence day so, all OT Batch students should come to ICAI office, Thane branch at ten in the morning for flag hosting. -
This announcement ruined the fun. The extroverts were happy and the introverts were making excuses.
At the end of the session, when students left the college ; Sharun was sitting inside the Security room, talking to a fat watchman with thick mustache.
Few minutes later.
Sharun received a phone call from an unknow number.
'Tomorrow atleast thirty of us will be meeting in the Thane Railway station.' said the male voice, on the other side of the call.
'Okay. Make a list of students who will be absent.' said Sharun, by walking out of the Security room.
'Wait. Wait.'
'They called me earlier. Should I share this woth them?' asked the male voice.
'Hmm.. Yes, tell them. I want to see what they can do, ' replied Sharun.
'Okay.' said the male voice and canceled the call.
Sharun kept his cellphone in his shirts pocket and walked across the street, to his Jeep.
