Upon seeing what was happening, I thought to myself. " Now why would Alex be doing something like this. I could make my way over to possibly break it up. But workers decided to jump in to do it themselves.

But I had to do something because it could bring serious trouble if the police were called. And if the college administrator found out. It would likely bring some kind of punishment for Alex.

So I did the only thing I could do. It was to gather up our things. And jumped in there aka the mess that was going on. I grabbed Alex's arm, pulled him along before the police were called.

Back at the apartment, we were sitting on a bench at the outside entrance. Resting, trying to catch our breaths from running from the scene. Then Alex started to laugh.

" What's so funny ? " I asked him.

And it took a moment to compose himself, while holding his stomach. He said...

" Well the whole situation was funny. I mean I heard everything you said to that guy which surprised me. And I didn't want to interfere at first but I was triggered, couldn't stop myself. "

" Um.... thank you but you didn't have go about it that way. It could be consequences to your actions later on. I really hope not though, " I thanked him, as I was truly concerned.

" So you're just worried about the project, how this incident could effect it. I didn't know you were that kind of person, " he glared at me, turning around to leave but I quickly stopped him from doing so.

" Sorry it isn't like that. I just didn't want you to get in trouble because of me, " I exclaimed holding on to his arm.

Then he began to chuckle as he sat back down. Which made me a bit confused. What was wrong with him ? Did he receive a blow to the head without my knowledge ?

" Quit thinking so hard. You didn't think I was serious ? I was just messing with you, " he said producing a smile that reminded of an mischievous child.

He had got to be kidding me. Damn he could be one hell of an actor. Because the way he said those things had me believing them. Then I couldn't help but laugh but mainly at my own thoughts.

" You should do that more often."

Huh ?

" What do you mean ? " I asked wondering what he was talking about.

" Laugh, smile. I like it, you look better this way, " he replied becoming serious, lifting his hand ready to touch my face but pulled back.

Did he just say he like me ? But I don't know what to say. Surely he had to be kidding with me.

But a little voice in the back of my mind said " Maybe he's not. "

And I had to snap myself out of it. Because how the mind goes when you think things are going one way then they turn for the worse. In my case a deep dark path. That almost lead me to ruin. I couldn't think ahead of myself like that anymore.

But the past is the past, I guess things would worked themselves out. Because I'm not in that place anymore, nor do I ever want to go back there. I felt a tinge of that back there in the shop. Or was it because that run in with whatever his name. I was pretty surprised at myself for speaking up when I did.

Then I thought of Alex, the way we met. We were two completely opposite type of people. He was humorous and out going.

And I was studious and gloomy. It made me think, how could he like someone like myself.

" What is going on in that mind of yours ? I really would like to know ? " Alex pulled me from my thoughts by poking me in the middle of my forehead.

" Nothing, " I told him embarrassed looking towards the ground. Then I felt him move closer to me, felt a hand on my chin.

He tilted my head up, I was forced to look at him at eye level. He was so handsome, so so.....something that I was not.

Suddenly his face grew closer, his eyes were looking deeply into mines. Then his mouth came down on mines in such a quick motion my eyes went wide. And he slowly began to draw me in, then he slipped tongue in my mouth, rather roughly.

I was so in the moment, the way he made me feel. I didn't hear a person walk up.

" Willa what are you doing ! " the older woman screeched.


It was my mother. Oh god this is definitely not my day.
