Prologue
My day wasn't going good as usual. It always felt like everything happens to me.
It's like bad luck follows me around. Just waiting for it's chance to strike me unexpectedly. But would it because my cynical self kind of awaited it.
My life was boring, why should it be any different than any other day. I thought to myself as I walked through the doors of the convenience store.
Grabbing an basket, I picked up a few things for dinner. And when turning upon the aisle where the drinks were, reaching down to get a couple of drinks of tea and water. When I stood straight I then bumped into someone.
" I'm sorry " I apologized.
" It's alright " he said, his voice me shiver with anticipation to see what he looks like.
But why ? I really care or pay much attention to the opposite sex.
Looking up, he was staring directly at me. And it looked like he wanted to say something but I wasn't going to stick around to hear it. With my heart beating wild and crazy, I felt like I needed to be far away from him as I can.
So I rushed to the front of the store, quickly put my items on the counter for the cashier to scan. After everything was paid for and bagged. I made my way out of the store, sped walked down the street.
I might've looked crazy to others as I did this. But I needed to get home before I do something that would embarrass myself. Knowing this, with me and my luck.
