I parked my baby in the garage. I opened
the door to my living room.
" Mum your darling daughter is home"
" Steph baby you are back I missed you so much the house was dry without you".
( My mum is on leave)
"How was school today?"
"M-umm school was fine," I said while stuttering. I stutter anytime I lie. My mum noticed the look on my face but she ignored it. 
" How is Summer?" I really miss that girl my mum said.
" Mum Summer is fine we are actually having a sleepover today." She was shocked about me having a sleepover. 
Are you ready to tell Summer the truth dear?
"Yes, mum I have faith in Summer she will keep my secret."
" Am proud of you" my mum said while kissing my cheek".
" Steph you guys are free to do anything except drinking if you can follow the rule the house is all yours"
" Thanks, Mum I kissed her cheek". I went to my room to get ready and to prepare for the sleepover.

After I was done showering I went downstairs to the kitchen I found my mum setting up the ingredients and utensils for today's dinner.
" Mum I need your credit card I need some things at the mall for today's sleepover."
" Steph you are free to buy anything you like but don't stay too long it is getting dark".
" Yes, mum I will be back in a jiffy".

I drove my mum's cheap car to the mall. I don't want any attention that is why I did not carry her normal car.
I arrived at the mall and immediately went to the snack section. I bought 5 pringles, 5 Maryland,2 bowls of ice-cream, different varieties of chocolates and sweets. I paid for the goods and loaded them into the car and drove home.
" Mum am back and thanks for your credit card."
" Oh Jesus "my mum exclaimed.
" Steph how are you and Summer going to finish these snacks?"
Mum most of the snacks are for me. I went to my room and arranged the snacks for the sleepover. I already changed into my PJs ( it is pink in colour). I went downstairs to assist my mum with the cooking when I heard a knock on the front door.
"Mum I'm coming, I wanna check who is at the door".
" Summer", "Steph" I called her name while she also called mine too. We both laughed at ourselves.
"Steph won't you allow me to come in."
"Ooh, sorry silly me come in Summer," I said to her.
" Sup Anabelle".
"How is my favourite girl doing, " my mum asked.
"Mum am hurt," I said dramatically so if she is your favourite girl who am I?
My mum and summer laughed at my foolishness. I also joined them in laughing.
"Am fine Anabelle just excited about your cooking and the sleepover especially your cooking".
My mum tends to behave like a teenager whenever Summer is around. 
" Summer quit talking to my mum, go and change into your PJs."
"Bye Anabelle catch you later, "Summer said while I rolled my eyes at her.

Summer changed into her PJs which of course made her look like a runway model.
What a figure she has. Summer, I got a lot of goodies for this sleepover feel free to devour anything.
"Summer," I said.
"Hmm, " she replied with Maryland in her mouth. 
You said you wanted to tell me something and you also have juicy gist for me.
"Steph " I actually have both good and bad news.

In my head:
Immediately I asked her that question her mood drastically changed. I wished I never asked her but the deed has been done.
" Summer "," Stephanie" dinner is ready' my mum said.
Mum please can you dish out the dinner and bring it to my room. My mum knocked on my room door. I collected the food, thanked her and also kissed her cheek. Immediately Summer saw my mum's dishes her face lit up like a Christmas tree.
" Stephanie I heard someone calling my name". 
"Yh," I said while munching my dinner ( my mum is such a great cook I feel.
like licking her hand).
"When are you going to tell him about your feelings Steph ".
" Summer I don't know if he actually likes me. I seriously like Tommy, I just can't ignore my feelings can I ?". 
"Summer" what if he should reject me? What if he doesn't like me? What if he is embarrassed to date me? What if he thinks am not worth his time?
" Steph chill you don't need to start thinking about what he will say ".

Firstly, if he rejects you, who in their right state of mind would reject someone like you. If he does reject you then he is a fool a big one actually cause he does not see you the way I do.
Secondly, if he does not like you, we can't actually blame him if he does not like you.
Lastly, if he is embarrassed to date, he doesn't deserve you.
" Summer I love you so much, you don't know how you really mean to me. God thank you so much for giving me such a friend like her."
" Steph I love you too " Steph you said you wanted to tell me something.
"Summer I asked you a question the other time and your mood drastically changed. Are you okay? Is there anything I need to know?.
" Steph am actually not feeling okay. My mum was fired at her place of work ( if you guys don't know Summer's mum works as a manager in a famous company)."
"Summer am so sorry "I will see want I can do about it 
" Steph what are you saying how will you see to it". She asked me looking confused.
" Summer I want to tell you something promise you won't disclose it to anyone."
" I pinky promise Steph," she said while stretching out her pinky finger I just laughed at her childishness.
" Stephanie you can confide in me tell me what is going on".
