Prologue
I see you. You walk down the building with a small smile in your face.Your soulder relaxed and you're not scratching your thumb anymore. You walk towards the big glass door and said "Have a good day" in raspy voice to the watchman. You both exchange a quick smile as he replied "You too mam" .
You think you did good today , you're more or less certain that a call will appear anytime in you your cell phone saying "Congratulation you got the Job !". It will most probably. A man walk pass you with baggy clothes and messy hair and you look at him with side eyes. You hold the heavy handbag closer to your chest. What is it ? are you afraid of something ?
After walking a few block your feet stop at a front porch of a grocery store. You hesitate before pushing the heavy glass door inward. You walk to the store quietly checking pantries of food and daily stuffs. You pick a fresh green pepper in your hand and smell it looking around quickly. You nose wrinkled as you place the green pepper where it was. I knew you wouldn't like that. Then you pick some galler of milk and some bacon and walk out of the store after paying for the foods with cash, to your new apartment.
Your eyes scanning the skyscraper , the Yellow cars rushing around the city. Your perfectly brown hair flowing in the wind of late afternoon Manhattan. Your porcelain skin glows as you walk down the crossing. Your eyes flickers with dreams and hopes unaware of the past you left behind seven years ago. Unaware of the things that I've done to you.
