"Really?!" She asked once again. "Yeah I'll help you now stop with the questioning!" He said. "Okay okay." The black haired girl said. "Now, miss...?" He stopped midway. "Oh yeah, haven't introduced myself haven't I? My name is Pierce Dawn." She said. "And mine is Michael King. Now let's cut to the chase! Where do we start off?" Michael asked. "You're asking me? Why should I-" The growling of her stomach stopped her sentence midway. "I guess that the fact you can't be seen by anyone else except me means you can't buy anything edible... So let's get you something to eat." He said as he turned his back and started walking. "Hey idiot wait up!" She said following him.

After ten minutes the two of them where standing outside a donut stall on a park not so far from the academy. "So what are we waiting for?" Dawn asked. "Okay, why don't you give it a try. The saleswoman of the stall may be able to see you, who knows?" Michael said. "Okay then... Here goes nothing!" She said swiftly walking over to the stall. "Uhm... excuse me? Can I have a white cream donut please?" The blue eyed girl said.  The saleswoman did not react. "CAN I HAVE A WHITE CREAM DONUT PLEASE?!!" She shouted at her. "I'M HUNGRY COME ON!" She continued. "Good grief... May I have a white cream donut please?" Michael said stepping up. "Hello young man! Of course! Here it is! It's 3 dollars!" She said handing it over to him as Michael handed over the required money. "Here you go." He said grabbing the donut. "Thank you! Please stop by again!" The old woman at the stall suggested.

"Here you go." He said handing over the donut to Dawn as they sat on a bench nearby. "T-Thanks." The blue eyed girl said openning the package of the donut stall. "Here." She said handing him money. "Keep it, there's no need to pay me moron..." He said refusing to take her money. "But..." She continued. "I said no." But he insisted. "Thanks again..." The teenage girl said as she took a bite off the donut like a maniac. "You must have been really hungry huh?" He said as he looked at the sunset. "Mmhum.." She admitted not stopping gulping down her meal. "I guess I misjudged her. She can be a peaceful and normal girl. Maybe that's because she is in need but I guess we'll see in the long-run." He thought to himself as he looked at her. "It's already 17:30?!" He said looking at his phone. "I need to get back home- Oh wait... I can't..." She said as she spaced out for a moment. "Don't worry you can stay at my place for the night if we don't resolve this problem of yours by then." Michael said. "Why are you being so considerate to someone who basically made fun of you in front of the whole school?" She asked looking at him. "You know, sometimes humans decide to let aside their anger for someone if they are in need." Michael said. "Oh..." Dawn replied. "But that's not the case with me. I just couldn't help but wonder why you are in such a sorrowful state. But at the end of the day I couldn't hold a grudge against you, so I decided to help." He explained. Dawn blushed and looked away as she continued eating her donut.

As soon as the black haired girl was full they decided to discuss the situation. "So the fact that you're being unnoticed by everyone, what do you think could be the cause of it?" He asked. "I don't know." She replied. "Okay then miss stubbornness. What about I change that question up a little. Can this situation be a cause of a magic spell?" He asked once again. "A magic spell...?" She wondered. "Oh I get it now! It must be a curse of some sort!" She said with a lively tone. "That's it! A curse! But what about it...?" The red haired teenager asked. "Figures... I guess it's a curse that causes everyone around me to forget about my existence..." She said. "You said that it first started at school... Does that mean that it's slowly spreading outside of school and even further?" Michael asked. "That would make sense I guess. But why haven't you forgotten about me too?" Dawn asked. "Fair question..." He said as he started thinking. He rested his head on his palm and that's when she realized. "Hey idiot, do you have a magical symbol on you?" She asked. "No, not yet." He said. "THAT MUST BE IT!" She shouted in amazement. "What do you mean?" Michael asked. "Since you don't have a magical symbol that means you're not being acknowledged as a magician!" Dawn explained. "Which means...?" The red haired teenager asked. "Which means that curses don't apply to you! If the one that cursed me spread the curse throughout the school then it means that everyone has forgotten about me except you! Because when a curse is made to spread everywhere then it does so without exceptions. But there are always two exceptions...The first one is that the curse caster can choose anybody he wants to be immune to the curse, including him. And the second one is that at the starting point of the curse, if someone is not a magician then the curse does not apply to him!" She explained thoroughly. "OH I GET IT NOW!" Michael said looking amazed. "I'm brilliant!!" She said out loud. "But what do we do now?" She asked. "We have to know how far the curse has spread up until now..." He said thinking. "And how do we do that?" The blue eyed girl asked. "Hey, do you have any relatives that don't live in New York?" Michael asked. "Yeah, my aunt... But what of it?" Dawn asked as well. "Then let's go and see if she remembers you idiot!" Michael said as he jumped off the bench and took her by the hand. "WHAT? HEY WAIT!" She said with a question-like tone.
