"-Сама ти втонула, чи хтось допоміг?" Спитала засмучену діву, та відповідь тут й не потрібна. Я бачу все по очам. Самотня дівчина сидить біля прірви, мовби і геть не жива, лиш ноги звісила вниз. І глядить на водню безодню. "-Чому ти сумуєшь?" "-Чого мокрі очі? " Та в відповідь чую лиш тишу. І грає мелодія зачарованої ночі Бо, душу вона відала морському владиці Чого ж тепер сумувати? Що, сталась біда виновата одна. Навіщо було так кохати? Молва людська тобі же казала, що хлопець цей тобі не пара! А ты ж покохала, ослухалась навіть батьків. Навіщо зробила ти це то з собою? Порушила батьків покій. І мати страждає і сестри звелись Того що, ти тепер - Втоплениця.

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice.
