Everything feels so quiet. Alexandra and I are just like a statue. Staring straight at each other. The lights are flickering. What is she even talking about? Rejecting my feelings.

“Don’t act dumb. We both know we were never married” She continued.

At this moment, I am really confused. In the same time I’m very scared. I was about to move forward. I wanted to get closer to her maybe this might be the right choice. But it wasn’t.

Everything happened so fast, I was not able to witness how fast everything happened. There was a sudden whip of sound beside my left ear. I realized that the arrow she was holding is already gone. It was that moment I started looking at my left shoulder. It is bleeding.

At that exact moment, I feel the pain from my shoulder through my whole body. I fell down through the ground and looks at her. Alexandra reload her bowing arrow and ready to shoot me once again.

“DON’T YOU HURT MY FUCKING HUSBAND!” Said by someone from behind.

There is a loud sound of a rifle. It was Lara. I have no idea what is really happening. What’s going on? Alexandra was shot but it seems like she is wearing a bullet proof.

Alexandra also fell down through the ground. Lara is trying to assist me by grabbing my right shoulder.

“Don’t scream” Lara’s order.

My mind did not work for a moment then in the blink of an eye, Lara broke the arrow, then she put my right arm through her left shoulder. Then pulled me up to stand. I can feel the pain but I can endure it.

“*laughs* you must be really out of your mind Lara” Alexandra said.

We both looks at her while pointing her bowing arrow.

“Poor little William. Having no memory or maybe! Acting so professionally! So good!” She continues.

“I don’t understand” Said I.

“You are a murderer”

“Don’t listen to her darling” Said Lara.

“Darling?” I asked.

“Owh. You didn’t know?” Asked Alexandra then smiled like she’s teasing Lara.

“Shut up” Argued Lara.

“William listen to what Im about to say”

“Shut up!”

“Your wife is Lara Finch. And you are William Finch. The one who’s holding you dearly is your missing wife. And also! We are inside the room where you murdered thousands innocent of people!”

“I don’t understand. It was the fog! It must be the fog Alexandra!” I explained.

“*laugh* who would have thought that the brilliant mastermind of all of these would be this dumb! You created this! You created this fog! And here’s the twist! The fog is just a distraction! You created a -“

Alexandra wasn’t able to finish because there was a gun shot beside me. Lara shot Alexandra straight through her skull. I have no idea what is she talking about.

“I’m sorry William, I didn’t tell you before. God! I miss you so much!” Lara hugged me so tight while her tears burst down through her cheeks.

“If you’re my wife then why is she the one inside my memory?” I asked.

We started walking to find the way out. Lara holding me dearly.

“Because she’s the last person you saw before you lose your memory” she explained.

So every memory that I’ve remember with the face of Alexandra Fade was supposedly Lara. I can’t imagine how she manage to hide it from me without seeing her being broken.

“If you are my wife then why did you keep it? Why did you let me go following Alexandra?”

“Because there are memories that you shouldn’t go back”

We stops from walking. I realized we are about to go outside. I can already see the exit. Few more steps and it is already outside.

“William”

“Yes?”

“All you need to remember is that I love you so much” Lara told me with her beautiful smile. And in that moment I remember everything.

My head hurt for a moment, I kneel down through the ground while holding my head. I can see Lara’s face being so worried. I remember everything. I was about to say something to her when there’s someone interrupted.

“Put your hands behind your head now!” It was a soldier pointing a gun at us.

As I look straight at him, I realized there’s a dozen of soldier pointing their gun. Lara’s guided me to stand up and put her hand behind her head but my everything vanished.

Lara was shot in the head. I was shocked for a moment. I grab her with my two arms even though it hurts so bad. I can feel her blood coming down through my lap. I screamed so loud that mirrors inside the laboratory broke.

I cried so bad the my heart became a stone.

And after that I blacked out.

Lara came deployed her after the experiment to save me. She’s the reason why I’m still alive. She’s the one who let me remember everything.

I remember everything.

I remember creating the fog.

I remember creating the monster.

And I remember

I am the monster.

The last thing I remember is the scream of a dying soldiers.
