HELLO MEMORIES
Hello memories of the past,
Have you come to haunt me again,
Make me feel like an outcast,
Remind me of that pain,
Why can’t you stay gone,
Beneath the rest of my thoughts,
More permanent than the pictures I have drawn,
Is where my memory plots,
For the day when it will rise,
And remind me of that day,
When I was told all the lies,
When I wanted nothing else but to run away,
That day in the dark,
When I still trusted them,
The day I remember with such sharpness,
