A Pondering Heart
Looking out the window
He saw the shooting stars
Promising a better tomorrow
Though He peered with sad eyes
The full moon smiles bright
Glowing with assurances of hope
Saying to Him in light
Everything would be alright
Here he ponders
Laying still in bed
His medullar at work
On zillion matters at hand
Mindlessly stroking His beards
Thoughts of the past rush in
Reminiscing upon many hurts
Challenges of life his companion
Wondering where next to turn
Haven used up all options
Tonight he lay still in meditation,
Sending a silent cry out to God
The events of past years gone by
Remembrance of horrors flash past
Yet a hope He sees in yonder lights
Telling him its going to be Alright.

PUNCHLINE-
For everyone who looked to Him were delivered; believing in Christ their faces were lightened and never ashamed. He became the Author and perfecter of their Faith, pulling them up from the miry clay. And this could be you!
