Perfect Stranger
Placing her box down
She swiped off the beads of sweat
that creased her brow
Just arriving town
Everything was new to her
but all she knew
was the leading in her spirit
urging her to desert home
Now she stood on a new soil
unsure of the next course of action
With the summer sun
Beating down upon her bun
She was about to burst out
in tears exhausted
When she heard a voice
behind her say
Would there be anything you need ma'am???
