You try to calm it
But thinking never stops
You show the world
How resilient you are
But only you know how the battle between you and your mind is going so far
It's not your fault

You listen to music
You read books
You take rest
But overthinking doesn't terminate
I know that's what about yourself, you hate
It's hard to move on at these times
But you still take every step of your life with smiles
You constantly try to prove yourself,
You are tough
But it doesn't get enough
To really move on
You always look for a saviour
But can't that saviour be you
Why to depend on others
When you are enough to get through
I know now everything doesn't seem clear
But the solution is right here
One day your determination will let you free
In the end I think that's the only key
So that in life you will slowly get by
When this unwanted stress and overthinking will finally say goodbye
