After writing the first chapter of his book, Sharun decided to end his life. He went to  'The End Gate' a place which was famous for it's suicide rate.
Sharun was fed up of his life and had made a firm decision to end it. He was tired of living a life he never wished for. He was tired of living a timetable life.

Morning 7:00am

Sharun was on top of the hill, standing on the cliff. There was a sign which said 'No visitors allowed beyond this point'. Sharun smiled looking at the sign and continued walking towards the edge of the cliff. He looked down the cliff and saw green trees calling him, asking him to jump down. He knew, those green tress were his escape from reality.
He went few steps behind, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He started to walk slowly, step by step towards the edge of the cliff. He was almost at the end of the cliff, when he heard footsteps coming from behind. He opened his eyes and turned around to see a girl walking towards him. The girl was looking down so, she didn't notice Sharun. When they both came too close to each other, the girl looked up, she saw Sharun and got scared. She turned around and started to walk away from Sharun.

Sharun starred at the girl. She was a beautiful brown girl wearing specs.

'Hey, stop! What are you doing here?' asked Sharun in a loud voice.

She ignored Sharun  and continued walking away from him.

Sharun followed the girl. He reached a little closer to the girl.

'Hey! Are you alone? What were you doing there?'      asked Sharun.

She looked at Sharun and said  'I'm sorry.'

She continued walking.

Sharun took his bag, which he kept on a bench near the cliff and continued walking behind the girl.

The girl turned around, looked at Sharun and asked  'Why are you following me?'  in a loud voice.

'I want to know, what were you doing here at seven a.m in the morning?  Sharun asked.

' It's non of your business. '      she replied.

' I know it's not my business. I got nothing to do with you but, I don't want to see you on the news tomorrow.'  Sharun replied.

'What do you mean?' the girl asked.

'I'm Sharun. What's your name?'  Sharun asked.

The girl got angry.

'What do mean, seeing me on news?' the girl asked in a loud voice.

'It's dark here and you are alone. New born babies aren't safe here, do you think a beautiful girl like you.....hmm, will be safe?'  Sharun said.

She ignored Sharun and continued to walk down the hill. Sharun stopped following her.

After few minutes, when she was half way down the hill, she saw being followed by four men. She looked them and started walking quickly. After few minutes, when she looked at them again, she saw only two of them.
She got scared and wanted to run but, was afraid. She continued walking until she saw two men, who followed her were standing few meters away, in front of her. She was sacred and her legs gave up. She stopped moving, her eyes filled with tears. But, all of a sudden, Sharun came towards her, put his hand over her shoulder and took few pictures of them with his camera.
The men who followed her realized that their faces got captured in those photographs so, they stopped following her and walked away.

'Thank you.' the girl replied in a low voice and stepped away from Sharun.

'Sorry for that.' Sharun replied.

Sharun continued 'My name is Sharun. You are?'

'I'm Cathy. Catherine.' she replied.
