THE SECOND MEETING
The text which Sharun received, was from Harshita; The girl whom he loved.
'Hi. How are you? It's been so long since we talked.' texted Harshita
Sharun was happy to read that text but, was afraid to reply. He didn't wanted to fall in love again with her.
He pressed the home button, and left Harshita's message seen.
Later at night, Sharun opened Instagram again.
' So sorry for not replying to your text. It was a busy day today and my phones battery was low.' replied Sharun
Within seconds, Harshita replied 'Can we meet tomorrow? If you are free?'
'Yes sure. But, I can meet you after three because, I have to go to job.' replied Sharun
'That's okay. Where should we meet?' texted Harshita
'Can we meet in the park?' texted Sharun
They both texted at the same time. For few seconds, no one replied. Then, they both sent laughing emoticons at the same time.
'Which park?' texted Harshita
'I don't know it's name, it's near the Gopala hotel.' replied Sharun.
'Okay. Meet you at three.' texted Harshita
Sharun sent three smiling emoticons.
Their chat ended with Harshita leaving Sharun's message in seen.
Next day, At the park.
Sharun reached late at the park. Harshita was already there, she was waiting for him. Sharun apologized to her for being late.
Harshita looked at Sharun's t-shirt and started laughing.
Sharun was wearing a black t-shirt with 'WORKIN WITH A**HOLES' printed on it.
'Isn't that a little rude ? I mean, you wore it your job.' asked Harshita, looking at Sharun's t-shirt.
Sharun laughed.
'It was my last day at job and I wanted to make it memorable. I wanted to make my colleagues realize, who they really are.' said Sharun, trying hard to control his laugh.
'Left your job, what's next?' asked Harshita
'Will follow my dream.' replied Sharun
'Photography?' asked Harshita, in curiosity.
'Yes.' replied Sharun, with a smile.
They spent an hour talking to each other, about their life and their future plans. It was the first time Sharun was talking to Harshita, all alone. So, he was blushing, his face was red. And, Harshita noticed it. She even made fun of it.
They both left for their homes after having a coffee.
At night, Harshita texted Sharun. She texted him an emoticon, which was a reply to the emoticons Sharun sent her yesterday.
Seeing Harshita's name again on his notification, made Sharun, fall in love with her again. He started dreaming about the future, a fantasy world where they both could be together because, he knew, Harshita was way out of his league.
