I Wish....
Wish everything went according to me...
As if the world was meant to be,
Just as I wanted it to be.
Wish everything was mine to befriend,
Nothing would have been left to mend..
Except broken trusts and promises.
But I know reality isn't like this,
Which really makes me miss,
The world of my wish;
Where everything is a bliss.
"Wouldn't I ever be able to make that world of my dreams"
I ask myself as often as the word itself means
But all I get is queer ideas, none of which will ever become real
Even if I keep on pondering about it, setting aside my now-cold meal.
