Attitude towards religious people
ATTITUDE TOWARDS RELIGIOUS PEOPLE
Atheists are usually seen going arrogant and seems that they try to enforce their ideas on theists. Most of them have strong logical ideas and concepts about the issue (that is why they are atheist) and while talking with theists; they dont consider the understanding, acceptability of the next person.
Many of the theists never listen to the words of atheist as they think this atheist is hammering our religion, God and Spirituality. They are badly engulfed by the concept of "our own religion and God" giving rise to bad ego.
Some of the theist will try to discuss with us not with the intention to understand and think but just to argue because they are also having the same problem of bad ego.
Many of the theists even on agreeing atheist logics fear to reject religion and the existence of God.
Atheist should understand that they have strong logical explanations, logical thinking and scientific temperament and acceptability to new ideas which may be not there in theist person they are talking. Though education will not largely influence the logical reasoning in people but it has some influence on making people to understand things and concepts. And that's why it may be (not mostly) easy to make understand the educated person than non educated ones about the logical explanations of religious concepts and natural phenomenon. But person having scientific temperament irrespective of being educated or not will always try to understand and explain everything. He will question everything; will try to find logical and reasonable answers.
Michael Faraday is the best example of that. He had just the basic formal education but he discovered Electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and electrolysis. And the world we see with motors (car, fan, water pump, electric generator and much more) is the benefaction of Michael Faraday.
Its ok to have faith on God or believing in some superpower if it is not giving rise to superstition or any exploitation and if that belief does not become obstacle of ones progress. But having logical explanations and scientific perspective is always better than believing and even having satisfaction in false or imaginary tales and even if not being exploited with superstitions.
We can be spiritual and atheist at the same time. But we cant be atheist and religious or theist at the same time. For example- Newton and Einstein were strong believers of God, were spiritual but were also having scientific perspective, logical reasoning intact. (Not like typical theists we see) so everyone has his own views, should keep their ideas, has right to follow any ideology, religion (as per our Indian constitution) but should also do their duty to promote scientific temperament (Article 51A-h).
