RELIGIOUS PEOPLE

In India we have many religions. Every religion has its own history, own God or prophet, holy book, similar or different ideology, etc.
But how does a person get his religion? We know just by birth. (The proportions of proselytes are very much less) We get our religion, caste, sub caste just at birth, without any choice or any achievement/authorship. And we start feeling proud to be born in our own religion. Why?
If you get lottery then its totally your luck and not any achievement you have achieved. The man who got lottery should feel lucky and not proud, It's not any achievement. Similarly getting birth in any religion is out of your wish and you have no authorship in that. So why to feel proud?
The answer is due to our ego. Every religious person dispraise other religions as he sees it with very scientific view, applies logics and common sense for other religions. But he doesnt do it for his own religion. In the name of faith every theist accepts and praises his own religion and God and rejects or dispraises all other religions. And also says that all religions and Gods are one and the same (even on many differences). Its very foolish and contradictory.

          

Most of the religious people follow their religion and worship God in the name of faith without even knowing the meaning of faith, superstition. Almost none of them read their holy book even once. But feel very proud and possessive about it. It is very funny.
They think, find and give explanations about the miracles and various things, phenomenon from their religion. But at the same time they also think and criticize various things from other religion.
Unknowingly the beliefs which they call as faith on the religion give rise to many superstitions and exploitation becoming the obstacle in social progress. These religious people teach their children to believe on religion and God and not to question about it. ‘They teach their children to speak and to stand but later they ask them to shut up (not to question) and sit down.’
