MIRACLES AND RELIGIONS
In every holy book there is special description of the God. Every religious book describes their God in a special way- full of magic, miracles and lots of adjectives.
As given in Bible, unmarried and virgin Merry gives birth to Yeshu. Description of his birth is given in a very special way. Yeshus life is also full of magic and miracles. His dead body is lost mysteriously and he again reappears alive. According to Christian beliefs, God created the world in steps and Yeshu was his prophet.
Quran says there were many prophets of Allah and Mohammed was the last prophet. Quran also says Islam was there since the beginning. It is also full of miracles.
And Bhagwatgeeta is nothing but only miracles. The miracles start way before the birth of Krishna and life of Krishna is full of miraculous stories. Krishna is not described as prophet of God but 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Buddhism is considered as different religion. But Hindus consider Buddha as 9th incarnation of lord Vishnu. In book Buddha and his Dhamma’ also the birth of prince Siddharth is described so special and miraculous. The characteristics of being Buddha are described and were present in prince Siddharth at birth only. According to them there occurs birth of Buddha about every 1000 years on earth and Siddharth also known as Gautam Buddha is one of them. Also its so described that Buddha got miraculous enlightenment by sitting and meditating under the tree. But Buddha rejected the existence of God, immortality. His thoughts were revolutionary and were based on scientific temperament. May be all those miracles and magic were attached to him afterwards as his thoughts itself are contradictory to his own description.
But like this every religion tries to describe its own God as different and special, magical and miraculous. Every religion describes the origin of universe, earth and life in a very different way but still they say God is one, just path are different!
But science doesnt believe on any such miracles. But explaining and scientifically proving the miracles means actually disproving them. If you give scientific explanation of any miracle then it is not miracle anymore.
When you see any miracle with scientific temperament you will see hypocrisy of religions. Few of the examples are as-
According to Bible, God created the water covered earth on day 1-2. He created dry land and plants on day 3. The Sun, the moon and the stars were created on 4th day but wait; how the hell first 4 days passed?
According to 3rd incarnation of Vishnu, Varah avatar lifted earth and prevented to drown it in sea. But where was that sea present? Similarly they say Earth is situated on the head of a snake called Sheshnaga. But where the Sheshnaga is standing?
So basically, if accept scientific temperament you cant believe on any religion and if you follow any religion then you cant be said to have scientific temperament.
