2nd in the Sequel of- The Triumph of the King
On a cheerful eastern morn
I saw my Lord again
Clad in a perfect robe of white
Shining like the stars
His body was no longer Laid
And His skin, no longer flayed
This third day He had risen anew
Never to die again
Oh what Joy in my soul
A joy once unknown
Though the wolves sought to lie again
But the prove of His life
Was already found in the grave
Indeed He is risen
Indeed He lives
Indeed no man can deny it
That He died to live again
In glory to reign again
That we might see the wonders of His Grace
With eyes filled with love
And face shining like the sun
His hands were stretched out to me
Calling me into His embrace
The sorrows are all gone
The agonies are no more
Now His flesh is fresher than a child's
Only retained are His Nail pierced scars
A prove of His love
A prove of the scourge
A prove that He took our place
So that we might live again
