Illuminate my tomorrow But don't discard yesterday I will always long for your presence again. I'm searching for a glimpse So I walk in your shadows But its the memory of you that I hold so dear. A thousand smiles for a penny And I still can't find your match. You are the elusive beauty to my fleeing heart. For the sake of the chase. I'll let go, and run in the opposite direction. Hoping a to collide into you one last time. But if our paths never intersect And I'm unable to reverse time. Please note: I'll will forget not what you mean to me. My legs may get tired, And with these worn out soles, I'm secretly hoping that you will someday chase me.

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
