We Remember
The past was a building block
For the house that we live in today
Yes
There were tragedies, monstrosities
Some pray for its discontinuation
This I humbly say
We would like to forget it happened
But like feeding a stray dog
It stays
It seems to be stuck in replay
In these modern days
It shouldn't have been this way
We remember memories
What else could we reminisce
The bottle flip challenge
The first spelling bee quiz
The times when airplanes flew over mountains
Or the times that they didn't exist
The time you would say something good to others
And their responses were modest and legit
How some believed in darkness
When others would resist
We remember previous plagues
But
What will we do with many an image?
