J'aurais dû réagir plus tôt. J'aurai du profiter avant. J'ai pensé que j'avais le temps. Si j'avais su que c'était faux... Je m'empresse de tout noter Chaque détail, te dessiner. Mais déjà ton visage s'efface, Et ma mémoire me menace Te perdre de toi toute trace, D'oublier cet instant fugace. Je ne devrais plus y penser, Mon cœur refuse de céder, D'accepter la réalité, Où rien n'est vraiment arrivé. Et je me raccroche à l'idée, Qu'un beau jour je te trouverai, En chair et en os, pour de vrai, Comme je t'ai imaginé. Comme chaque soir, je t'attends, Je soupire en me demandant, Si ce n'est qu'un futile espoir, Ou si je pourrais te revoir. Mais notre histoire est impossible, Ton absence m'est si pénible... Pourquoi me suis-je réveillé ? Je veux rester à tes côté, Plonger dans un profond coma, Ou notre amour existera.

I Saw a Dream

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
